Attention DROID Razr HD, Maxx HD and RAZR M users!

Both the

, and

are receiving different updates than documented yesterday, and all of us at DroidRzr still urge you to steer clear of these updates until it is absolutely sure it is safe to use!

To all 3 devices: If you make the mistake of installing the update on an unlocked device, I don't know what could happen, its possible it could relock your bootloader but I'm still not quite sure. This goes for all 3 devices! These updates patch the rooting and bootloader unlock exploits, so if you're not unlocked, do NOT take the update(s) and unlock now!

You've been warned.

The DROID Razr HD is receiving an update to version 9.18.79, AND version 9.20.1 like documented,

DROID Razr M is receiving an update to version 98.16.3 AND 98.18.78, like documented.

They're both still maintenance updates. Nothing for 4.2 yet.

The DROID Razr HD is receiving an update to version 9.18.79, not version 9.20.1 like documented,

This isnt 100% accurate. According to some posts a few users got the 9.20.1 update.

Honestly now I'm confused as hell as to what is going on. Motorola and Verizon need to get their update story straight. Lol

The update I got was the 9.20.1 as promised. Everything seems to be working well so far and it fixed a minor issue I was having. (I've only had this phone a week - Verizon decided to move me from the Razr Maxx to the Razr Maxx HD when they had to replace it a third time. So far, it's an improvement.)

Has anyone figured out why they're pushing 9.18.79 and 9.20.1 has any one pulled the updates

My curiosity got the better of me and I installed it on the M. Boot loader was still unlocked. Lost root, but got it back after flashing CWM.
