To all 3 devices: If you make the mistake of installing the update on an unlocked device, I don't know what could happen, its possible it could relock your bootloader but I'm still not quite sure. This goes for all 3 devices! These updates patch the rooting and bootloader unlock exploits, so if you're not unlocked, do NOT take the update(s) and unlock now!
You've been warned.

Where you rooted when you updated?
So long as the bootloader isn't affected, loosing root access isn't an issue. So I wouldn't worry about that. Protecting root isn't really important anymore with unlocked bootloaders.

FYI all if you are unlocked and rooted now dont worry about the update. For one they can NOT relock the bootloader. And secondly even if you loose root all you need ot do is flash CWM or TWRP and then flash the *.zip to root it.

Yep Moto likes to name their new updates the same as the current build, personally I always found it a bit confusing...

How convenient it is now that VZW goes from released THIS FIRST OTA announcement:
To now THIS ONE?!
Note, in the latter, they've now listed BOTH updates having the EXACT SAME details? I wish they would just be honest, forthcoming and transparent with everyone so we all KNOW why this has happened and IF we should care about one version over another, rather than leaked, rumors.

Lol sketchy, I know. Do you actually have one of the OTAs for the Razr M pulled?
I can do a git diff of the two new updates and see what's actually different besides the build numbers.
I've been restoring to stock every day waiting for the OTA to hit my phone, and still no dice, but I'm on 98.15.66.XT907.Verizon.en.US, could you check the updater-script
in the zip that you have to see if that's build number it's supposed to be targeting??
vic2497 and I would love you forever
