There's a cheesecake rewrite that someone from Japan is doing over on XDA called motowatcher, but you cannot download, you can only see when each server was last updated as of now.Anyway, back to the original question, I don't think there is a way to monitor the servers in ICS. Am I wrong?
EDIT: .... >_> @ being ninja'd by one post.

That's the motowatcher app above that you speak of and I'm running .79 leak
Awesome! Theoretically we should be able to use motowatcher to monitor the server activity, and if we see anything that looks interesting, we can flash back to .181 and use the cheesecake method. That is until the OTA comes out and cheesecake should be working again as long as we are on the most recent official OTA.
By the way, thanks for responding to the OP instead of the sidebar;.

Then again, could it simply be someone just messing around the servers since we can only tell if its an update and nothing else?

Crc:
Zip:
I had initially posted this on another thread, but this one seems more suitable.
Also there is an 11.1mb testpkg file on staging sdc200 server if you are on .181 but my file won't validate. If anyone has another way if pulling this file, I could be very much worth looking at, bootloader?

Damn you box lol no change it to
Blur_Version.6.16.206.xt912.Verizon.en.US.zip
Forgot that box does that with their files, lame. Remember that is just a small update from 206 to 209 I have not tested it because i'm not stuck at the time, and don't plan on it anytime soon

Nice, just seen you're a moto-server hound lolI made a bone stock backup just after installing 206, so ima restore that, delete bootstrap, & then install.

I've actually been changing my version number through the build.prop and surfing the servers, that's how I found this small update. I know ics doesn't play nice with cheesecake. So this method is a nice workaround. I'm assuming you could change your ID to a bionic version and pull up their update files and vise-versa.

Could you give us a little more direction on surfing the servers using this method of changing the build.prop?

You should probably either start a new thread for this or add it to the 206 leak thread.
Also tagged with one or more of these keywords: cheesecake, bootloader, files, server
