I guess because I don't use my phone for alarm and dont have dock it doesn't bother me I got the tv on when I sleep anyway. Makes it easier to find when I get up in the middle of night lol.

How do I get to the MMS / SMS settings?

I assume you are looking to get the menu button to show up.

Settings>ROM Control>Navigation Bar>Menu Visibility>always show.

Settings>General UI>Display>Show Menu UI oveflow.

I am having an issue. When I go into settings under contacts and attempt to set a custom notification for a single contact, the stock contacts app always force closes. I can select a custom ringer or chose a vibrate setting for the same contact with no issues but attempting to select a notification always force closes the stock contacts app. I have noticed that clicking on the notification selection to attempt to select a custom notification brings up the vibrate selection menu as it force closes. Any help is appreciated and thanks in advance. This is a great rom otherwise.

 

I also noticed that when I play a game on my phone, the movements on the screen lag a great deal. Is there a setting I can adjust for that. Once again, thanks for any help in advance.

I went into settings about phone and pressed ck for updates and it said one was available I know better than to try and take it was wondering what it was. I am unlocked or wouldnt be here I never took the Ota that screwed up things for a lot of guys there is no way it could try and make me take it im on a different kernel it wouldnt work anyway?

No updates. I'm the only one that I know that ported it for your device ota will really mess you up bud

I know better than to take it was just concerned it might try and force it when I'm sleeping charging with phone on. By the way thanks for Port by far the best 4.2.2 I have ever tried.

Runs beautifully. Only snag I've noticed is that I can't get a gps lock. Will give it some time to settle in and see what happens. Great work!

Gonna try running Bytecodes kernel from xylon on here! This thing flies as is, I can't imagine how fast it would be with some slight overclocking! Will report back if all goes well for anyone else that may be interested.

 

update:wifi is starting to get a little wonky, it's starting to drop connection frequently-will try some fixes, if to no avail, will revert back to included kernel.

 

update:  scratch using this kernel, it borks wifi completely after a few reboot. Everything else works flawlessly though...

Runs great but sometimes games or apps will have a black flash and freeze up the whole phone and I have to lock and unlock to get it back.

Everything I tested worked perfectly! If anyone is interested in ocing, I highly recommend that kernel. I just extracted it, put it in a new folder and flashed it via fast boot :-)

Can you test to see if BT tether works with that kernel?

Just boot.img, right?

So far everything working great battery life not the best but shut flashed last night got to give it a chance. Is there supposed to be a pulldown status bar or just the Icon in upper right corner.

Well its been a day and 1/2 so far. I get some lag at times but seems to go away quick. Weird thing it did was changed my network from CDMA to GSM couldn't figure out why I only had WiFi. It seems like 3 G 4G take a bit longer to switch. I'm in a crap signal area but they do kick in not enough of a problem to be a concern.

For some reason I don't get all my contacts installed. and I used aio slim gaaps for this ROM. Maybe I'll try t regular 3/01 gaps Thanks for the port. Awesome progress. Sent from my Razr HD using Tapatalk 2

I can't seem to get tether to work. I have tried native and Tevs I kn ow how to change settings in Trevs to make it work. Works fine on the note. Any sugestions? With all the other great stuff this ROM has I'm sure its just something I am doing wrong.

Strange.  Native USB tethering works fine for me.  Disconnected my LAN cable from my PC.  Hooked up my phone up via USB.  Enabled USB Tethering and was able to surf away.

Same here. Can't get BT tether to work though.
Haven't tried wifi tether.
