Hey, I used the drop box link and its still the small 4g. I cleared cache the second time and it still it still was the small ASOP 4g.

Being overtired got the best of me. What I created was a battery mod with larger text. What you were looking for was the stock 4G icon.

I'll do some digging and see if I can change that.

Actually, I beleive it was you that had the answer for this. I took the 3G/4G icons from a stock rom and replaced the small ones that were in Eclipse. The trick is making sure you replace all of them

Look into SystemUI/res/drawable-hdpi and you'll find many of the icons you're looking for.

I updated the OP with some basic knowledge on how to change this stuff.

Is it JUST drawable-hdpi that the png's need to be replaced? because there is also drawable-sw600dp, drawable-sw600dp-hdpi, drawable-mdpi, and drawable-sw600dp-mdpi. Do the icons need to all be replaced in there as well? Do you just use 7zip to swap the icons?

I'm gonna give it a shot. Do you know what those other drawable folders are? I can just push this to my system/app folder, set permissions and reboot right? this doesn't need to be done with flashable zip?

I'm not sure what the other folders are for. I've always created a flashable zip, but your method should work as well. Make a nandroid, just in case ;-)

nah, didn't work. Booted up with no status bar. ALL I did was replace the png files.

What pngs were you replacing? Systemui Can be fussy.

Any ones that were data related. Mostly the ones that didn't have lte and all that good stuff. It ends up being like 50 pictures. It's weird how it crashes out the whole UI considering I'm just replacing pictures.

A method i use is to drag and drop the replacement images. If you delete, then try to copy over replacements, you may miss one and systemui won't like it

I figured as much, but no, I didn't delete anything. I just grabbed what looked like stock pngs for the data connects and dropped them into the systemui that I was gonna push. It just replaced whatever was already there.

I pushed
Chmod
And rebooted

No notification bar on reboot,

Dun know. I'll try again tomorrow but be more patient as to which imgs I replace.
