No dice. Still won't boot :/.

The only way that I have been able to get the phone to boot at all is to use a special version of the Razr HD Utility which repairs the GPT partition.

I did format Data but I removed the external SD card when I did so as the ROM file is on there.

 

Do you think there might me a problem trying to flash the ROM from the external SD as opposed to internal?

 

I supposed I may have also lost root with all of the trouble that I am having, do I need to root my phone with the stock ROM and then try to flash it?

Try putting putting the ROM on the internal and flash from there instead. I know it definitely has to be in the latest recovery for kit kat.

I can't get it to boot. I flashed it in CWM 6.0.4.4 and I am just stuck on the Motorola emblem on reboot.

 

I tried flashing it in TWRP 2.5.0.0 and I got a weird error about an error while trying to execute the updater binary.

 

Then I tried TWRP 2.6.3.0 and the flash was successful however I am back to being stuck on the Motorola icon on reboot.

 

A little help please?

 

P.S. My bootloader is UNLOCKED.

Try downloading the ROM. If you have the latest recovery installed it shouldn't matter if you installed it from t the internal or external storage. After downloading match up the MD5.

I have TWRP 2.6.1 and it works just fine with KitKat rom's. I realize that the recommendation is to be on 2.6.3 or 2.6.3.1 but I can say that 2.6.1 works fine. YMMV

@nobe1976 could you compile a fresh build? I'd image there's been a lot of changes since the posted build.

Doing some hard drive backups. I repo synced last Sat. and built one, but didn't see much changes. Let me take a glance at the github to see about any system changes and I will be more then happy to build a fresh one.

Going to wait on updating. Latest update Camera app is broke. Also Art still doesn't play nice. Had some TIBU issues plus other things that didn't work the way it should. Will try again after the holidays. Merry Christmas to everyone.

Loaded this today and prefer to the AOKP build. For the life of me I can't find the USB debugging option as the developer options menu isn't in settings. I need this for TiBu.
