Hashcode just updated his blog with the new safestraps, though they aren't of any use until we have kernels to flash.

Fixes from Safestrap 2.0.1: When rebooting on safeside phone will no longer try to boot into nonsafe side while plugged into AC charger.

wondering do we uninstall 2.00 first then install 2.01 or install over
and is 2.01 just for the kernels that will be out in future

Right over top of 2.0 it's what I did. It says old recovery in the safestrap app at the top. Just hit install recovery and it overwrites it.

Just installed as well, removed old from within the app after install but not sure that's necessary.

Did install new SS
install new recovery?

Ok I figured this out,however when I go into recovery and I enable safestrap the phone will not boot until I go back in and disable it...
Is this right? thx in advance

Correct...it worked for me but honestly I would recommend the other route just in case. It was just really late at night and I had a bad crackflashing twitch lol

That's odd worked just fine for me over 2.0 but every phone is different.

You can install it over 2.0.0 fine, however I chose the long way, just to be safe :P

Will this work with our current kernel as well? Would we be able to restore a previous nand with this?

I've been watching the D3 threads and their Kexec safestrap does everything the old one does including nandroids and restoring old nandroids, it just has kernel support
