Glad that worked for you, but it did not work for me. Not sure why.

I installed 2.01 over 2.00, uninstalled recovery, then installed recovery. Screen showed "Old Recovery". Uninstalled recovery, rebooted, installed recovery, same thing.
Tried a couple of other variations, but finally had to reinstall 2.00, install recovery, uninstall recovery, reboot, re-install 2.01 and install recovery. that finally got it.

FWIW, I did all this on the non-safe side.

floatingfaceup, this is a very positive sign. Earlier in the week some doubt was cast on the whole project.

Now we have a special SS for Kexec.

Once it's released the biggest thing will be to see how many choices we'll have for new roms for moto & which new capabilities will become available to us.

As someone said earlier, this is going to be a game changer; so how ever long it takes will be worth the wait.

Let's give dhacker & hashcode space to do what they are sooo good at & then I'm sure that many will step in & provide us w/material enough to play with to our heart's content.

I've seemingly lost the function of my home button after installing. I'm running Full Throttle (CM9) ROM -- uninstalled recovery, then installed 2.01 APK and things seemingly looked good, until I rebooted. The phone got stuck on the glowing red droid logo for 15 minutes before I did a POWER+VOLDOWN "reboot." It looks like the ROMs settings are all back to stock, and my home button isn't working -- clearing cache/dalvik didn't help, nor did a full ROM reinstall.

Edit: I'm going to restore a backup I made yesterday and see where that puts me
