lmfao - well, the last build and this build are enabling WiFi for me late at night - and I've never set up the automation utility thing in the BIONIC, so.... And the camera shutter still sounds when you take a screenshot even if the phone is in vibrate / silent mode.

I don't believe this will be the OTA. I think we're a ways off from that. If we're back to QA builds, then we're just screwed.

Whatever. It's allowed me to develop the HoB to the point of perfection. (Not being cocky or arrogant...those who don't know how much time and effort I've put into developing the HoB would be rather shocked how long that took to develop). So now with that, we can just move around all these 235+ leaks and call it good. They release 242, great....I'll even consider going back to it. They release something else, whatever. We'll get to it.

Just got some interesting info. Apparently VZW may have woken the hell up and signed off on 244. We may see soak this week or next. I kid you not, this is a freaking soap opera.

Honestly I would not be surprised if Verizon wanted to push this just to make the q3 deadline and just send out a small update in a couple of months to fix the holes.

That's actually exactly what I was told they are trying to do. But, apparently, there's internal....resistance....to that idea. We'll see who wins the internal VZW power struggle. LOL.

i pulled 244 from staging server sdc100. sorry it took awhile to answer, didn't think this thread would have much activity once the leak was made available on HoB.

That's been VZW's MO since day one. Nothing new here to see on their part. As for internal resistance, could it be that there is someone inside VZW who actually gives a s**t and wants to make sure this OTA is not an update fiasco like the RAZR was? Here's to hoping that resistance wins out so we have a perfect update experience - as long as it is by Sept 21

Yes, cause in the history of phones, we ALWAYS see flawless, bug free updates. BAHAHAHA. The issue is flash. Moto can't fix it on their own. It's a compatibility issue between moto's ics and flash. Adobe needs to release a bug fix. How likely do you think that is? Besides, if all we need is a bug fixed adobe flash update, that relates to holding up the ICS OTA....how, exactly? Yea, resistance is futile. Release the damn thing already.

I wonder if VZW is so adamant about getting Flash to work b/c many of their branded apps rely on Flash?

It would explain why Moto removed RichLocationVzW.apk from the .242 build (which, actually, I think was removed b/c it was not needed, as there is also a RichLocationVzW.apk.p file in the build.....)

Could be but ALL new Moto phones will ship with Chrome as their default browser. I'm ready to go that route....nuke Flash, nuke the standard browser,and let's just move along.
