I personally don't like WebKit browsers as much, but then again, I'm a sucker for the customizability that I have in Fx that I still don't have (to as great an extent) in Chrome, barely have in Opera, and pretty much don't have in Safari and IE....

I love chrome, it syncs everything (history bookmarks recent searches etc) across my laptop, xoom and bionic.

Yup. One of my favorite features, as well. And was just updated today.

Fx does that too via weave, now called Firefox Sync. plus addons and even (optionally) the cache.

Just saying. I use three addons in Fx that I cannot get completely the same in Chrome - TabMixPlus, BBCodeXtra, and NoScript. Must have addons for me

firefox on 244 does flash wonderfully, whereas chrome doesn't do it at all. that's really all i needed to switch over to firefox.

That may be more b/c Google is phasing out Flash support whereas Firefox still fully supports it (I don't know if this is true or not, I'm guessing here).

John you are right. Google has confirmed that they are never going to put flash in chrome. Its one of the reasons that chrome annoys me and one of the reasons i enjoy it.

Love hate relationship? lol....

So, instead of guessing, maybe I pulled that one out of my arse b/c I actually did hear it instead of just dreaming it up....

Don't care. I really don't. After 9 builds I just don't give a &&&& what minor nuance differences there are between builds. Just get the goddamn thing out the door already.

Amen brother!

Just got some interesting info. Apparently VZW may have woken the hell up and signed off on 244. We may see soak this week or next. I kid you not, this is a freaking soap opera.

I believe it. $#!7... look what they did with the D4. Soak one day, OTA the next.

If you installed it when it came out then you have been running it a long time. Since early July. :)

I was wondering if anyone has any thoughts or insight into how things will work if our Bionics do get an official ICS OTA this decade. What I am wondering and concerned about is will we get an FXZ timely or ever and does anyone think they would implement another Droid X 4.5.621 type OTA on our Bionics. I plan on staying on .232 until there is an FXZ and confirmation that they have not Droid X'ed us.

Let's face it, once you realize Verizon is in the business of keeping you in a contract and Motorola aka Googorola is in the business of selling phones it makes since for them to make it difficult to get a new phone experience, through ROMS, without buying a new phone. This is why I think we are not seeing 2 GB of ram in the new developer phones and I don't think we will see a MAXX version either. They don't want to provide us with a future proof phone for an extended amount of time. They want to sell us another phone. I don't know about anyone else but the only reason I upgraded from my original Droid was because it was getting slow and did run newer versions of Android well. Has anyone heard where any of the developers stand on the developer phones? Have any of them said if they are planning on getting them? I know I want to get one. I miss my original Droid experience and want it back.

Thanks for any insight.

We will get an FXZ for ICS. Could be up to 8 weeks after OTA, but, we'll get one.

6.7.244 is no longer available, so we're either getting close to release or close to a new build :-)

I'd just like confirmation that 244 is no longer on the servers. It could mean one of two things...they're prepping for a soak test. Or, sadly, they went back to the drawing board and are working on a new build.
