yes, you need root to flash any Rom. Rooting does not affect Netflix. I use Netflix on my device daily with many different ROMS.

Be warned, install SS 3 from the stock side only. Also, none of your previous backups will work and you will lose your current non safe ROM. I suggest backing up your apps with an app backup tool, along with copying sd/android/data to save any extra app data.

For your info folks ROMBot is down right now. Hashcode is on hold with tech support but is expecting a long hold time. As soon as things are up for him I'll let you know.

Save for the usual jb bugs I assume?

Anyone who flash this have data issues. so far each jb rom i have used losses data on reboot and nothing gets it back.

I lose Data after every reboot but I get it back but it takes upwards of 10 minutes, and battery takes a beating as well my battery is draining very quickly closer to 13% an hour , with limited Use! but its a great Smooth Rom and still early in its dev. it will get its Swagger on I am patient!!

Kexec AOSP Builds
These will allow custom kernels to be used. At this point I consider Kexec to be more experimental due to the Kexec stuff still being worked on. Camera/camcorder do not work on these builds as of yet and the battery life isn't as good as the stock builds.

Most stuff is working. Camera will work with apps such as Camera 360 from Play Store. Phone calls are not working properly on current build. dhacker29 is aware of the issue and is working on a fix

This is the only rom I have interest in. A light weight stripper rom with no added artificial flavors or preservatives.

Surprised more users have not tested. I am content with fully functional debloated stock. When this gets better I will warm up the flash hand.

I am also very interested in the camera. Currently on stock from a couple weeks ago, and plan to update to SS 3.0.4 tomorrow, and would love to reflash Kexec if the camera has some degree of functionality.
