10/9 build has been added to the main post. I have no idea if the USB issue has been fixed since I haven't tested it yet so post if it has or has not been.

IMO we will need a Dev to perform their wicked skills to tweak the base dhacker and hashcode have given the world. They are giving us android in its purest form. Someone will need to take that & kick out the jams. I have been testing the AOSP builds but not extensively. However a solid kexec aosp build an interesting drive.

RIght now dhacker and hashcode are working on getting the stock builds working before working on the kexec ones.

Wanna try this so bad but can't until more bugs are worked out. On a cm10 stock ROM now and they are great.

That's the date on the build so I'm going with that.

3 Questions..
Is there a way to get the phone to boot into LTE/CDMA mode? Mine boots in a 3g setting.

Is there a way to increase the hard key button vibration level? It is extremely low, and i like feeling that the phone is registering presses.

Is there a way to get the compass working in Google maps again?

See if I can help a little:

Yes, you can force 4g. dial *#*#4636#*#* and go into your phone information settings. Scroll down to the drop down for "Set preferred network type" and change to "LTE/GSM/CDMA auto (PRL)" Give it a second, but 4g will pop up if you are in a 4g area

You can change vibrations and assign vibrations in AOKP and I think CM10, but those are add-on's. AOSP is just a base and is Android in it's raw form. All the phone MFR's, Devs, etc build from this. So I don't think there is a way to change without some kind of MOD

Have you tried uninstalling and re-installing google maps or, has it tried to update via Google Play? The GApps zip file is from July and Google has released multiple updates for a number of their apps since then, and Google Maps was merged with a number of other location/latitude functionality. Sounds more like the App just needs a kick to the tires

yes, you need root to flash any Rom. Rooting does not affect Netflix. I use Netflix on my device daily with many different ROMS.
