Is there a way to get the phone to boot into LTE/CDMA mode? Mine boots in a 3g setting.
Is there a way to increase the hard key button vibration level? It is extremely low, and i like feeling that the phone is registering presses.
Is there a way to get the compass working in Google maps again?

See if I can help a little:
Yes, you can force 4g. dial *#*#4636#*#* and go into your phone information settings. Scroll down to the drop down for "Set preferred network type" and change to "LTE/GSM/CDMA auto (PRL)" Give it a second, but 4g will pop up if you are in a 4g area
You can change vibrations and assign vibrations in AOKP and I think CM10, but those are add-on's. AOSP is just a base and is Android in it's raw form. All the phone MFR's, Devs, etc build from this. So I don't think there is a way to change without some kind of MOD
Have you tried uninstalling and re-installing google maps or, has it tried to update via Google Play? The GApps zip file is from July and Google has released multiple updates for a number of their apps since then, and Google Maps was merged with a number of other location/latitude functionality. Sounds more like the App just needs a kick to the tires

Just to let you know the Topic says 10/4 not 10/14
Which shows I need to proof read a bit better. LOL! Thanks for catching that.

Does anyone know if the location services are working on 10/14 build?
Yes why would you think they wouldn't?

yes, you need root to flash any Rom. Rooting does not affect Netflix. I use Netflix on my device daily with many different ROMS.do I need to root first? I'm not fond of rooting since it makes deactivates my Netflix .
