i tried install this and got bootlooped. any suggestions? i wiped cache and dalvik cache before install and was on stock .173 before i installed this. i didn't wipe data could that be problem?

That could very well be the problem...any time you are coming to a new rom, you should wipe data...
Have you got it booting back up yet at least?

Wiping /data wasn't necessary, but wiping /system is. You should always wipe /system when changing ROMs. When updating, wipe /system between full releases but not between patch releases. A patch release is how DroidTh3ory updated Abysm while this has so far been updated with full releases. Otherwise you end up with mixed system files left over from the last ROM (stock is a ROM option) and the new one.

i still in process of restoring using mattlgroff razr util v1.4 going back to stock .173 via fastboot. i was stuck like chuck. will wipe and try again once that is done. thx

ok, so i'm restored, re-rooted, bootstrap re-installed. now wiped data/factory reset, wiped cache, wiped dalvik cache, then going to install razr eclipse from sd. wish me luck

still having problems updating or downloading apps over the 4g network. get an error that says file to big and needs to be downloaded over wifi. anyone else having this problem??!!

worked like a charm this time. thx to all. luvin the rom nitro. glad to see you here when i came over from using my fascinate. have a suggestion for you nitro, is possible to make a mms theme more like the stock one or like ics where the messages are staggered and like a blue message bubble for one and black message bubble for the other? just an idea. luvin this rom soooooo much. thx for all your hard work and time.

This rom has the perfect blend of blur to keep the HDMI /webtop running .....I absolutely love it...also noticing slight but definite improvement in battery life...no more bump charging during the day since I'm running it.
