So, it seems as though everyone's favorite person, Dan Rosenberg, has successfully achieved root for the RAZR M and RAZR HD / HD MAXX! Although the HDs have not been 100% confirmed, it's a reasonable assumption that it will also work on that series as well.
Now that they are rooted, does this make it more alluring for you to buy? Are you gonna take that earmarked money and go spend it on a RAZR M / HD?

People should donate to Dan Rosenberg if they like his work. $20 to root a phone thats locked isn't much more comparing the full retail Dev Editions.

Now all we need is the bootloader unlocked on the retail phone and it will REALLY be worth buying.

Despite my strong belief that people who are interested in rooting should buy devices with unlocked bootloaders instead of expecting the magical hackers in the sky to give out free exploits (which are in short supply), I'm once again continuing to encourage bad behavior by publishing another root exploit:
