"Pink Floyd" Theme

(Current Version 1.0.2)

Hi all, here is a theme based on, what I think is the best band ever: Pink Floyd!

This is something I put together today, so it is not a complete theme. I.E. there is still blue ICS color around.





Sorry about the alarm on the lock screen, forgot to turn it off for the photo shoot

What apk's have been themed (some more than others):

• Framework-res
• Browser
• Contacts
• Email
• Gmail
• MMS
• Phone
• SystemUI

Differences to Simplex-V1.3:

• Bootanimation – Taken from "The Wall" movie.
• Battery Icon changed. This is a greyscale version off my "Duracell inspired" battery icon. (with 1% battery changes).
• Status Bar Icons.
• Dialer font.
• Lockscreen Clock Font - Font inspired by "The Wall."
• Dock and Lockscreen Icons.
• Default Wallpaper – Can be changed to any wallpaper.
• White text in SMS.
• MANY different icons.

Upcoming Changes:

• Lock screen clock font made smaller
• Removal of ICS Blue
• Suggestions?

Installation:

(This is asumming you are already on Simplex-V1.3 | Ics4.04 | 10/1/2012)

• Pink Floyd_v1.0.2 - Simplex DOWNLOAD:

• Download and install onto SD Card.
• Reboot into Recovery Mode SafeStrap (I have only tested using SafeStrap v3.05).
• If you want to be safe: Wipe Cache, Wipe Dalvik Cache (In “Wipe”).
• Choose “Install”
• Locate “Pink Floyd_v1.0.2 - Simplex.zip”
• "Swipe to Confirm Flash"
• After installation, Reboot, and enjoy!

NICE! Makes me wish I was still on Simplex ;-) Dark Side, imho, was the greatest album ever produced. ( lets not start a war about that, just stating why I like this theme). Good work man!

Haha, I agree! But I have to say "Animals" is probably my favorite just to chill too! Much better than any of this modern day "music"

This theme looks great with Simplex. I appreciate the hard work that went in to it. Maybe you could add a sound clip to he hammer march boot animation. Just a suggestion that would round out the theme. Awesome job!

I have tried to add sound but I don't think the Simplex Rom recognizes sound for the boot animation. Correct me if I am wrong and I will look into it again

Full Throttle STA (Stronger Than All) is based off of CNA (Code name android). It is a hybrid mix of AOKP and CM10. It has some custom features from AOKP and the speed of CM10. Thanks for the reply about the sound. I tried to put the new Motorola boot animation in and it doesn't work. I guess we would have to get up with EmericanX about incorporating sound.

Thanks for that explanation. I looked into it and I might port it over this weekend if I get the time. STA CNA looks like a good concept alright!

Updated OP to v1.0.2.

Changes include smaller lock screen clock and a few icon changes to the quick panel settings.

Just put this on my girlfriends phone. Looks great, but anyone having issues with it hanging up on the boot animation sometimes it boots and sometimes it doesn't? Clean install redownloaded still happening. 1.02 thanks and good looking theme

I haven't experienced that before. The first reboot after flashing may take a little longer to boot, but after that it should be fine.

Do you only get a black screen? Has anyone else had this issue?

Seemed more like the boot animation was lagging and would freeze. Maybe boot maybe not. Mostly not. She is interested in getting into ROMs. Just don't want a bad experience to turn her away. I'll dig into it more. Thought it could have been linked to the latest build. Thanks guys

Unfortunately I've just flown out for Thanksgiving so I won't be able to investigate until next week.

Try downloading a boot animation from the boot animation section and give that a go. If that runs OK on the phone I will look into the boot animation. Let me know.
