I had to leave this ROM for now.  I am running it as the main ROM flashed with TWRP.  It works well for some time, then objectionable lag sets in.  Went back to stock JB leak and no problems, as before.  The lag has nothing do do with Safestrap or running under internal emmc.  I uninstalled SS and removed the app before flashing with TWRP.

Edit:  OK, I'm back on Fuzion.  I loaded the 24v HD_Tweaks_V1.  I'll see how it goes. Installing smart actions did not fix the Motorola Voice Commands app.  There are some interesting other alternatives in the play store.

Edit:  Two days now after loading 24v HD_Tweaks_V1.  The lag has not reappeared!

Maybe try flashing the smart actions zip in the second post? It might restore enough of the libs. Make sure you back up first though.

This is why I dont bother "installing" it. Simply copy and paste it in to your /system/app folder and reboot(you should probably reboot anyways after "installing" it so this method saves time and trouble imo).

Let us know how it goes, but I doubt we stand to gain much by using the 4.1.2 kernel unless Moto really outdid them selves..which I doubt.

i was more concern about whether or not 4.1.2 would work, rather than an actual gain over 4.1.1 (I like being on the latest build)......what do you think?!

I figured it out. I had the apk file. Just went into ES file and went into system/app and just replaced it. Thank you though

I attempted to flash (in twrp) the 4.1.2 boot img (from the "{ROM} XT926 4.1.2 DST" thread) onto my Fuzion RC1/24v setup and noticed in my settings that I'm still on 4.1.1.  I mounted the system prior to flashing, so I'm not sure if I actually have 4.1.2 installed properly or not.  Did I miss a step somewhere in the process?  If so, what may I have messed up on?  Do I have the wrong kernel?  Is there another way to confirm if 4.1.2 is installed or not?  I also uninstalled safestrap.

Thanks for the future help.

That's cause Fuzion was built on 4.1.1 ROM base.

Post Unlocked Bootloader and Lag Update:

After a week of having my bootloader unlocked, lag has not reappeared!

However, I did have one mysterious random reboot toward the end of last week, but is hasn't repeated itself, thankfully.

It's a huge improvement from the old HTC Thunderbolt days!

So, just to be clear - now that Matt has published his new utility - does moving to 4.1.2 offer any advantages?  I know you said a bit ago you had updated most of the improvements already.

As for editing build.prop - LOL, -  maybe I'll update mine to say iOS5, show my friends how great my hacking skill have become!!!

EDIT:  Sorry, couldn't resist!

I'll let someone correct me if I'm wrong.  If you are unlocked, no matter what you do, you are unlocked.  I've not heard this is reversible.

Matt's Utility, version 1.2 in development section, can put you back to start at 4.1.2, reroot, install TWRP / CWM, and then I think you're ready to go.

I wish it were you still need to beware of OTA's Moto can screw you up in a heart beat and trust me they will be looking to. They dont like getting there face rubbef in it. I was hopping for a zip.to flash that would get me there without going back to square one Dirty Droid X is working on something.

What is the downside of doing it this way?  Just asking for training purposes.

There is no downside to doing it this way, a fresh start is always best and is something I always do after the crack-flasher in me is satisfied with a rom and ready to settle down.
