Your using the wrong utility. The JB Dual Boot utility looks like the OP (first post) in this thread. You want to choose option 3 from that which is boot to Jelly Bean or something like that. I think you opened Mattlgroff's utility which is what you don't want.

I threw together a utility (thanks to Mattlgroff's Scripting) that allows users to stay on the .211 ICS release and still manage to run their favorite ICS ROMS via SafeStrap and now their favorite JB ROMS via SafeStrap too. This allows you to remain "Fastbootable" without waiting for Motorola or Verizon to leak the Fastboot Files.

You now can have the best of both worlds.

The utility does (5) things:

  • Root your ICS .211 Release (in order to install SS)
  • Install SafeStrap 3.07 (while under ICS)
  • Boot the JB OTA Leak Kernel.
  • Boot the ICS .211 Kernel.
  • Boot the ICS .215 Kernel.
What does this mean for you?

Well, its easy. If you have not already taken the plunge, and want to enjoy the benefits of JB without losing your ability to recover your system, feel free to use this utility.

It's fairly basic:
  • Have a clean system (.211) using Matt's 1.82 Utility or RSDLite.
  • Root your device with the tool.
  • Install SS3.07 with the tool.
  • Have your favorite JB or ICS ROM installed in whatever slot you like.
If you are going to be running a JB ROM, make sure you start the utility and switch to JB Kernel. The same goes for ICS ROMs and the ICS Kernel.

I'll update this thread to perfect it, but for now I just want to get it out there in case people don't want to take the OTA plunge.

JB 98.72.8 running on SS 3.07 via ICS .211

1. Can this be done on my Phone switching from ICS to JB?...
2. Can I create Backups for each OS and Flash to ICS D-load, Flash a Slot...Than Zip Jelly Bean OS, Flash the ROM of choice to another Slot?

Just read this carefully

If you follow it step by step you can't fail. I can't explain the procedure in a easier way than that.
As I said before, if you can't understand that, don't do anything! You will probably kill your phone.

Yes, you can have Rom slots with JB and Rom slots with ICS based roms. You just have to switch kernels using the JB Dual Boot utility from the OP. You must be using Safestrap v. 3.07 or higher to do this method. Post #70 explains how to accomplish this.

This can all be very confusing to a new user. Just read, read, and double read before doing anything and you won't go wrong.

Edit: For what it's worth, don't jump the gun on anything new that comes out that makes system changes to your phone. Many have benefited from not doing so cause now they can have the best of both worlds that this utility gives us. Leave the true hardcore crackflashing to others until you have mastered it.

My 2 cents

I'm going to try to flash a ROM(Hashcodes stock ROM Version) to the Stock Rom Slot now. Hashcode updated to Safestrap 3.11 which allows flashing over the Stock Rom Slot. If this works then I will be on Stock JB but still fastbootable. I'll let you know how it works.

Does ur stock rom still work?

I'm thinking it just failed since roms are coded to ride on the stock kernel
