I'm not really in the market for looking for a new tablet, but I love Vizio products. All my T.V's, sound systems, blu-ray players are Vizio. I was surfing their site today and started looking at their tablets. Right now, the 8" is no longer for available on the site, but you can grab one from amazon. They have a 10" on the way. I was wondering if anyone has had any interaction with one of these boys. I am curious as to how well they run. Here are the specs for those wondering.....

We bought one of these (not this one) Vizio brand Tablets last year (2011) for my step daughter for Christmas. Lasted like 6 months and now won't charge. A true crap heap. Just sayin'.

Well since you can't even get the 8" tablet from the Vizio website anymore, I kind of figured they failed on it. Amazon has them for a couple hundred bucks.

I love vizio tv's all i've owned when i saw they were getting into the computer tablet business. I did research the tablets are crap they teamed up with coby to make them. And the computers seamed pretty solid if you change the hard drives to a reliable brand ie seagate, wd, or toshiba, etc

weak wifi coupled with a crap charging system and poor memory voltage management you are looking at max a 1 year usage time. this is a POS waiting ot die on you.

Software is kinda weak too.
