I am on Stock JB OTA, and not a partial root (where I lost root by not updating binaries) not sure if I was the correct target for these scripts, but all three failed to write :(

Iran this and it seemed to not be working. I use Easytether Pro - once I disconnected my laptop from ET the batch file ran, but I kept getting "failed to write SuperUser.apk"

Mu question is - how do I find the location to put the file manually? I can't seem to fin the folder where it is trying to be written.

I'm no expert how to trick the system to let files in and give them -rw permission. Thanks for putting in the time trying to find a work around. I don't know if anyone has looked into the exploit that Bin4ry made using the restore data function we have as a back door exploit. I wish I knew more. Files did not exist on XT912 RAZR that were needed to make it happen. If, of course, it can happen at all.

I tried the motofail2go exploit last week, and it didn't work. It relies on being able to generate a bug report, which I couldn't do. There is a menu item in the Developer Options to generate a bug report, but it didn't seem to do anything on my phone. Holding the VolumeUp+Power buttons (as indicated in the instructions) didn't generate a bug report either.

Tried both, the script doesn't end up in system/bin from what I can find, instead it ends up on the root of the sdcard...
I tried to manually move the script, didn't work

I did the same with the motofail2go. Couldn't get a bug report from power/volume+ or in the developers options... I've also tried a few other device exploits and they're also a no go... :(

#6 is up

I modded the .bat file... here is as far as I could get...

EDIT: NM i ended up with the wrong file. The problem is still that bug2go is sitting in the root of the sd, and not in system/bin, so permissions don't work...

No the exploit failed, I assume because the bug2go script is on the sdcard. The only bug2go files in the /system/bin are bug2go-bugreport and bug2go-bugreport-oem. I've tried both of those in place of the bug2go, no luck... looks like the exploit won't work.
