Ok so recently (within the last few months) after ICS and a couple weeks of nice steady 4G LTE my phone has begun dropping data again... but not like before, im now getting the full lost data (cannot call, text, get online, NADA). All my bars are gone and i have the red x over where they would be. I have supplied some screenshots of whats happening... any ideas before i go back to VZW and flip $h** on them...

thanks guys

Can you verify that the towers in your area are not experiencing outages when this happens? Also, how long does the data outage last?

Are you on a stock rom? Also you may want to consider having Verizon provision a new SIM for you. I had some weird issues back in the day with ATT that were due to a failing sim. Just a few thoughts...

If pulling the sim does not fix it then you need a new sim card. Heard to big v. It's free. :-)

Keep us posted, even if resetting the SIM fixes the problem.

you could also double check the settings in your testing menu:

dial *#*#4636#*#* > Phone Information > and post back some screens of what you see
