The answer is......(as stated way early in the thread:) )

Boot into your stock ROM ...... Open up navigation (or similar app) .... Get a good solid GPS lock..... Then re- boot into aviator and you should be able to get a good GPS lock.....:)

That's what worked for me many times (many moons ago)

Ahhh! Crap, I kept trying to submit a reply/post, and phone said 'trouble connecting...' So SO so sorry for all the duplicates. I've not yet found a way to nix them. Ugh!

Perhaps it is something about Safestrap being installed, then.

I took care of your duplicate posts, no problem :)

Safestrap is not the likely cause..... If you absolutely cannot get a GPS lock even on stock... Then the problem lies either in your hardware or your gpsconf file has gotten corrupted somehow...... If all else fails....... Nuke and repave (FXZ back to stock) and start over fresh......

Just to reiterate, before flashing be sure to boot into stock ROM and attain a GPS fix. After you have a good GPS fix (indicated when you have a small blue circle around you position on the map) then reboot into Safe strap and flash ROM.

If you still don't have a GPS fix, then you can boot into stock, attain a fix, and then reboot into safe strap. Wipe the cache and then reboot into ROM.

Hopefully that works!

'Nuked' my Razr Maxx, still poor GPS. Can't hold it long after being unplugged from (unpowered) OE car dock. Good thing it's only a back-up phone.

So far so good. Thanks again for the help everyone.

My Razr Maxx seemed to be on its way out until I installed this ROM. Seems much snappier now.

ZKK didn't do any custom sub-packages, like some ROMers. When updates became available for apps in those sub-packages, they often wouldn't work and the ROM got stuck in time. ZKK stuck with theme and performance. Apps can update, or be messed with, should problems happen. THIS ROM is adaptable.

Someone please enlighten me... I got my old razr out of the drawer the other day because my wife broke her phone. So she will now be using it. I can't remember to save the life of me, how the heck I once had a switch for 3G /4G. I thought it was a feature on this ROM but I must be wrong. Can anyone help me with a app or ROM to where I can switch from 4g to 3g whenever I please .

Try power toggles in the store. Iirc that's what I used. Not an issue with sm-n910p.
