Another Cheesecake leak from Batman.

This is only to be updated from 6.12.173 stock ROM using Motorola Recovery.

Only changes we know of from 173:

• No FC error when Search in App Drawer
• Adds "MyMotocast" Widget aka "Motocast Dashboard"
• Updates CDMA radio.
• NOT ICS. Don't bother asking. Still 2.3.6

To root this use the new Motofail exploit root (in my 1.3 Utility or download it elsewhere).
If you are on 173 and you use OTA Rootkeeper an update to 176 "should" work as long as you didn't safestrap.

Fastbooting back to 6.11.748 still works with my utility. I wouldn't release otherwise

I cannot guarantee this will be an official update, but I can say that 174 and 175 will NOT be.

DO NOT FLASH THIS OR ANY LEAK WITHOUT TAKING YOUR OWN RISK. IT IS NOT OUR FAULT IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG YOU CHOSE TO FLASH.

I know what ya mean. Keeping on topic, that widget is kinda cool. I may have to attempted the OTA rootkeeper step just to see if it works. Not really sure though lol me not so brave.

So there are just 3 things in this update? How big were the files for .174 and .175 as I never seen them on cheesecake and wasnt real sure what they were all about anyway.

174 and 175 were about 16MB or 17MB.
This one is also around 17MB.

Hard to say really. I think its their quick-fix for 173 and then its off to work on ICS for Moto!

Hey matt thanks again! Quick question, is there any downgrade flash from 174 to 173 or will i have rsd, i ask only BC there was from 173 to 748. Thanks.

I think Moto is making these incremental fixes as we report bugs in the 173 release: low earpiece volume, loss of charging LED, loss of Smart Actions actions, etc. I won't be surprised if you find a 177 unofficial release soon. I'd hold off flashing anything myself.

As these builds are constantly being made and are not meant for public consumption we find new stuff every week or so. Flash or don't flash. Completely up to you.
