Hellp Everyone. Not really sure if this is the right place to post this but I am having lots of trouble. So on October 11th I received a text from Best Buy Mobile (22891) stating this "Best Buy Mobile Upgrade Reminder: Records show your upgrade date is 11/30/2013. So needless to say I went online to get a new phone. All happy and gitty for a new phone before the holidays. Well when I went to select upgrade it came back and said I was ineligible. Now Im P.Oed and wants some answers. So I call up Best Buy Support and they tell me nothing. Not a single helpfull answer. Surprise Surprise. So if anyone has any advice please please help me out. So frustrated right now. By the way im on verizon which is probably my first bad choice.

All I can say is ALL the major retailers are pushing hard for customers...happy holiday shopping season... if Verizon says you are ineligible then sorry to say you're not...you can always check your upgrade eligibility status on their website to know for certain. Idk if BestBuy is trying to bait and switch here but as always buyer beware. Fwiw I've bought a lot of merchandise from BB and have always had a good experience but their website is not always accurate. I go in store for purchases. I hope this helps you get some answers at the very least.

It could easily be just a flaw in best buy's reminder software.

Thats exactly what I was thinking. I got my phone when the verizon upgrade policy was 20 months under contract. But then a few months later they changed their policy so Im thinking that best buy never changed the reminder date.
