I would suggest banging the phone on the desk to get it to boot.

+1 confirmed. worked for me. ;)

What makes you all assume he wants his phone booting the kernel? I think he is trying to get his brain to bout into a new mode. I prefer using alcohol.

Ok, help need here from the experts.

I am very new to RAZR MAXX (2 days)... Been on GS2 using MIUI on that and loved it... Wanted to get my Droid Razr Maxx on that but can't...

My RAZR is on 181 GB stock kernel.
I have rooted the device using Max's utility and installed Bootstrap (for GB).
I go to recovery, wipe data, system, cache and davlik
I flashed this BUILD here and the device just stays on the MIUI logo (XAOMI.COM) one and nothing happens...
Luckily I had a nandroid backup of stock, so went back to GB Stock

Can any one here tell me what I did wrong?

Can you point me to a step by step?

Thanx

hey man, the steps you took sounds right to me. not sure why it hung up on you. the MI logo comes on. from there it tend to take like 2 more mins to boot in. what i do to help to know if it is booting. put the phone on the charger when you see the MI bootanimation. later on if it is booting up you will see the charge light before the MI logo goes away.
Maybe flashing it twice might help. sorry to hear you have this issue.

I'm new so, I could be dead wrong on this but, seems as though I read that you sometimes have to toggle data off and back on for these leaked ICS roms on the RAZR.Edit: that is on a fresh flash. Not a constant pain in the rear end sort of thing. :)

Absolutely. Reading the OP is a great place to start. Use the phone info shortcut to toggle after boot.

Thanx all... yes, I did read the OP's post.... and now tried the Data On/Off a few times and then rebooted the phone... One thing here... if I reboot, it ALWAYS goes to CWM..... have to hit "reboot system now" to get to the booted phone..... anyways... the indicators on top now show "3G" and "1X"... But when I browse, I have NO DATA.... plus where is 4G LTE????

I know these are growing pains and that there is a solution out there...

Any help?

Best

Freakin sweet I just crushed my friends X2 quadrant score by 300 with this. I know it doesn't actually mean anything but it will piss him off, so thanks for the sweet rom.

when i say toggle for the data to come on you have to go into "Phone Info" i added a shortcut app that brings you right to the Phone info and in there you are going to change the radio signal to GSM and the screen will flash. then switch back to gsm/cdma auto (prl)..then wait for it. it will search and look for the verizon network and LTE will be searching in the Network type line. it takes a minute or so to get it. then you will have 4g if your area is has a tower. if not it will do 3g.

I just downloaded the most recent version (The May 25th one). I am having difficulty downloading themes because everytime I go to download one it says "download failed." Any fixes for this, like a .zip or?

Edit: Silly me, I downloaded the beta, not the actual release.

It actually works better if you come from that build. Upgraded radios.
