Nope. No data at all. I flashed it again and did the *#*#INFO#*#* thing. Oh well. I tried. That sucks too. I liked it.

You should try wiping more than once in recovery. Try advanced wipe a couple times then factory rest. Hope you tried wiping system data and both cache. Also try just rebooting after your flashed boot up. And maybe try toggling your data controls when flashed in system settings. :

how long is the first boot on this rom?

im thinking I keep getting stuck at boot....or im impatient...lol

been stuck for 10 mins at boot screen, im pretty sure thats not normal

factory reset clears caches you usually only have to do it once I just factory reset and wipe system

I read an article on this it said if you do it more than I once your saying it didnt do it the first time. It cant do half a wipe its either all or none. In the last 3 1/2 yrs I never had one not wipe.

No but your just making sure all other information from previous ROMs are gone and wiped. And what's the worst that happens if you wipe more than once? Nothing, so just double wipe to make sure and install. That's all. Factory reset wipes more than just cache it does data obviously. Also folks keep in mind, like I've said this is just an Alpha and not the final thing, a few things need to be taken care of first; namely I need to make a MIUI kernel; I did one for the XT926 a while back but enough has changed to justify a new one.

 

With a MIUI kernel Shelld should be fully functional which is the cause of the no-widget loading, and any Theme related errors; Shelld accounts for a lot of functionality and once It's made will probably do a lot for the stability of the rom

II loved this ROM for the short time I used it. Thing for me is. I prefer LMT overlay. Just so I can keep my screen real estate. And my DPI at 240. Which cause some graphical issues like background boarders not stretched enough. Lol not a deal breaker though. Great alpha build Tquetski. Can't wait for the kernal^-^

OP updated, numerous fixes, numerous changes

- MIUI version updated to 3.5.31

- In-call Volume raised

- Themes / Widgets Fixed

- Google GPS, Weather (no Baidu)

- MIUI Kernel for Shelld

 

The MIUI kernel is the biggest change and is required for Shell to function, If you flash an alternate kernel you will lose most of the roms functionality If not all of it.

 

It was a hard call in regards to what to do about the Shelld situation, because there is slight artifacting with with the 'stock' CM10 kernel, but as It was the only Boot.img I could find without doing a compile I had to use it.

 

I realize there is some artifacting, but the kernel isn't a forever thing, It's just temporary, the base is solid

Dropped data is no longer an issue, also if you are having issues with USB, goto settings > complete settings > storage > default usb connection type > mount SD card

Having trouble with lock-screen.

The lock-screen takes several attempts to light up after sleep.

sometimes when unlocking, the screen will become a distorted purple image.

any ideas.

Yes I noticed I get the sleep of death with this ROM or kernel rather because that's what was the problem to even make the ROM in the first place. I got white snow like a TV at one point too

You can flash byte codes kernel which will get rid of screen artifacts but camera will stop working.

funny thing is, I had none of the issues above, all I had was a fully functional daily driver rom....I mean everything was working for me... no screen glitches...ran it for 48 hours now...smooth as butter..lockscreen responds everytime first time, no white snow here...

job well done

btw ....finally got to test my BuuF miui V5 theme i started almost a year ago, need to update images to xhdpi but most of it already looks good.... a few tweaks and I will release it soon!!
