Hmmmmm flashed this 3 times and I'm getting reboots and the static screen when I press the power button. Anyone else? I'm using the new version.

Since we have to flash CM10.1 nightly first, I figured I would put up a link to all CM10.1 nightlies in case anyone wants them...

I'm not talking about about booting up, I push the power button then screen turns off then a static screen comes on and stays on regardless of pushing the power button again . It's also doing random reboots, about 3 while trying to input my wifi password and Gmail password. The earlier version didn't have this problem.
Edit
So we need to flash the nightly, then orions zip then the gapps? That's my problem then if this is so. ID10T error.

Should work the same. Make sure to go to format for system and advanced for dalvik wipe.

Downloaded the newest nightly and flashed. But there is no play store or setup options. Tried flashing gapps and every thing force closed. What am I missing?
via Raging M that is color blind
The play store is definitely in there. Maybe bad download. Did you read the instructions completely?

Flashed using cwm, everything went smooth. What do you mean when you say let it settle for a little? Don't have much time to play with it down to 70% battery. Just lost electricity and I'm using my neighbors wifi to post this (sssh don't tell lol) will give update in the morning along with a donation, thanks.

Just turn your phone off for about 10 minutes it helps I let all my roms settle

Everything was working fine last night. Got up this morning and the static screen is flashing on and off. Try rebooting, I get my unlock bootloader warning, and back to the flashing static screen. Please help!

I've been using a variation of this update style for months on different phones and roms so I know it works. I use it as a way to test nightlies and keep my data. I have been runnning this particular update for a coupe days without any issue beyond the CM10.1 bugs. My only suggestions are to read the instructions completely and make sure you have a good download.
I'm uploading a new nightly right now that I'll put in the OP shortly. Try to redownload both files.
Last thought - Data needs to be wiped if you are not on a previous nightly. So if you are coming from a different ROM - WIPE DATA!
Make sure you wipe Dalvik too.

By settle I mean don't touch it after the 2nd reboot for 10 minutes or so. Just reboot, put the phone down and do something else for a bit. I usually reboot again than the phone is good to go. This ROM does a lot behind the scenes on reboot (i.e. clear cache) which is why the boot is a bit longer, so don't be shy about rebooting......

I just put the MD5sum in the OP for the Orion Update. Quick, easy way to check your download.

I just downloaded the 5/5 nightly and the Update from Drive to my phone, flashed them according to the instructions and everything works the way it should. Please read all the posts before asking for help. Thanks.

I have flashed the 5/4 and 5/5 night lies and have the same issues on both. Static screen and constant reboots.

via Raging M that is color blind

Have you unlocked your bootloader?
