Cool. Well thanks for the lesson manYeah, I'll probably add more frequencies. Uses more battery. Most of the time there is no visible increase in smoothness.

Yes, you can. This kernel is an enhanced version of what he and some others did.

I'm working on getting CM10.1 installed so I may get around to trying this kernel in the next couple days.

You're the only one lol
I bet you ran it for 5 minutes after first boot, and didn't reboot a 2nd time after first boot.
Custom firmware isn't magical, it has to settle in and build caches.

Reboot, get the red moto logo then black screen, have to hard reset to get to recovery. Install stock kernel, boots fine. Weird

Rage HD is a Blur based ROM. I may look into adding support Blur of possible.

Lol only one huh? Just sharing my experience which comes from a long history of experience with a lot of devices. I ran the kernel since it was posted for the last two days. Tried various options and settings and experienced more lag than the kernel dt included in his rom. That's MY experience that I'm sharing on the forum. I'm not bitc$%#g or attacking or even asking for your feedback....

So far I have:
Compatibility with XZ compression added to kernel
Updates to memory management
Disabled frame_pointer for faster kernel
-03 compile optimizations
Optimize memcopy and string
Optimize TCP with a really cool patch I found
Optimize AES and SHA1 encryption
Testers feedback has been positive so far.
