So do I have any feedback on battery life?
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2
i flashed the kernel last night onto my MAXX HD running the Pac Man ROM but i've been busier than usual today so i hadn't used my phone a whole lot through
the day and really let the kernel hit it's stride so i'll put it through a test of my more normal usage and get back to you on the performance and battery life i'm getting.

Yesterday under normal usage on codex I had about 10 to 15% more battery than normal left at the end of the day. Based off of codex from the previous couple days. I'll post again tonight with some day 2 results

My life is pretty average from what it's been. Give it a few days to settle in. I'm getting about 26 hours, non maxx, moderate usage.

I actually saw it earlier, but didn't realize that's what you meant. So many roms out now it's hard to choose... I've been running the original release of pacman for weeks as my dd. Flashed this kernel yesterday and thinking about fbing just to clear everything from flashing so much since bootloader unlock.

I recommend Axiom You can find it on the Hive.
This isn't much if a test, but I've been running this since last night with no issues yet. Runs smooth. No difference in battery life (it's good for me).
Seems to be what most are getting.
my battery life is around 10%-15% better with this kernel versus what bk was using with Pac Man to around 12-13 hours which still isn't very good. the kernel we're using for AOSP has cut my MAXX life in half but stock 4.2.2 is sooo worth it for the time being. if i didn't know how aggressively the progress is being made on support for the Razr HD now i might would go back to 4.1.1 Blur. now in terms of performance...it's been pretty laggy for me sorry to say but the same kernel can perform one way for one device and entirely different for another. i'll have to restore my backup but i'll monitor the progress and try out whatever updates there are for this. i'm tickled that we're getting custom kernel support for this phone. c:
I didn't realize that it could be so different fit different phones. Some get good battery life but laggy as hell. Some smooth but no difference.

maybe it has something to do with the governors we're using. mine's set to "ondemand"

Try Interactive as your governor and ROW as your scheduler.
