This package allows you to boot into the CWM recovery.
CWM recovery means that nitroglycerine33's Bootstrap.(RazrBootstrap.apk from DroidRazr)

This package is not an BMc08GT's "Clockwork on Boot".(from RootzWiki)
BMc08GT's "Clockwork on Boot" does not work on our razr.
But, i have got hint from BMc08GT's package.

So, i have analysis and research. And the result is this.
This package is completely different. It's new package.
I'm sure that all Razr(any national) is working.(Almost razr working has been verified.)
Our Razr(Korea Motorola Razr) is work well.

[Full Install Step]
1. First, CWM Recovery install.(nitroglycerine33's RazrBootstrap.apk)
2. Attachment file(RAZR-CWMOnBoot-Global-J.Y.Daddy.zip) download and copy at SDcard.(/sdcard-ext)
3. Recovery boot using by RazrBootstrap app.
4. in recovery menu: "install zip from sdcard" -> "choose zip from sdcard" -> select file.
5. After completed update, reboot.
6. After reboot, RazrBootstrap.apk set deny on Superuser. (Very important)
7. reboot. (is all finished)

* After all completed. On every reboot, will be boot into recovery.
* When select reboot menu in recovery, it will be boot normally.
* Met bootloop, Volumn Down + Power Button press.(stay for about 5 seconds)
* First, please backup using the recovery.

[Where is the RazrBootstrap.apk?]
It is nitroglycerine33's [Razr Bootstrap Recovery].

Nice, thanks for the link. I asked this over on Rootzwiki, basically say you install this on your current rom, and format your system to load a new rom, this safety net is removed too, right? So even if you had this and loaded droidth3orys rom last night, it would not have helped those who softbricked, correct?

Of course, when system is formatted, this patch are deleted.
When installed new rom, you must be recovery and this package re-install.

Good Luck!

Nice work!!! But just a FYI, the package Brandon and Myself made does work. :)

This however is MUCH less Cumbersome to enable. Nice scripting!! Kudos for sure.

Thanks for your work. :)

I would then try to do it.
I will trying "RazrBootstrapRecovery" and "CWMOnBoot" to merge.
And then i will development for single app.
That's my plan. And my hope. :P
If work succeeds, i will released.

Good luck!

Baby Steps Everyone...If not confident just hold on and let the Big dogs Figure it all out . Its only a matter of time before we have a multitude of roms and themes And ICS for all.

It's been awhile since this thread was active but I'll take a shot and hope someone sees this....If I install this and for any reason want to go to safe strap would the onboot zip need to somehow be deleted before installing and using safe strap???

I personally feel safe strap is the way to go.... using this to boot onto recovery has to be redone after every new rom flash... so u better make sure you don't boot loop...

I haven't had to redo mine since flashing it. And I've been switching between ic3 updates and a few other roms a lot lately.

could we not just merge this update package with the update package of the ROM we want to install? a little extra work, yes, but it keep the safety net intact.

thoughts from the devs? is there anything that would prohibit us from just modifying the file structure in the update.zip and the updater script to add this mod in?
