I am looking for some advice and assistance on how to essentially wipe my phone (maxx hd xt926) and "start over." When I originally got the phone last year I rooted, and installed a custom rom. Since unlocking of the bootloader wasn't an option I ended up going the safestrap/TWRP route.
Over time, I have found that the memory in my custom rom slot is getting maxed out. My goal is to completely start from scratch, and get away from having a "partitioned" device and:
1. Get rid of the safestrap/twrp
2. Wipe everything
3. Unlock
4. Install CWM recovery
5. Install a custom room (rooted)
Currently things are set up as follows:
- Unlocked bootloader
- Safestrap Recovery v. 3.05 (TWRP v. 2.2.2.1)
- Stock rom (rooted) in stock slot
- Fuzion Rom in a slot
- NO other roms installed
Can anybody provide the steps for me to follow to start over, and end up with a device that can actually use all the space on it?
I am somewhat familiar and have used fastboot and adb as well---though I am by no means an android expert.
Thanks in advance!
