Also i'm pretty sure the answer is "No" but will this work with GSM ICS leaks and obtaining root?

The GSM leaks can be rooted in the same way with 403 and 404 boot.img thats where I got the idea :D
Obviously you need the gsm files though.

Sarcasm isn't the way to do it, neither is demanding help. Please have fully flash the 6.12.181 files with option 1 of the Droid Razr Utility 1.6 by yours truly. THEN flash the boot.img for 6.16.206. THEN go to Motorola Recovery and upgrade with the 6.16.206 upgrade zip package. If it fails, upgrade again.

If it fails after that, its completely user error.

There is no possible way for someone to answer that. If the official ota that gets pushed out is .206 than we would be back on the path. But until that day comes, there is no answer.

This will wipe everything save for anything on the SD cards.

This worked. I wish i would have known the 181 restoral didnt havexto run all the way thru to work. Wasted 4 hours for nothing. Mine ran all the way to preinstall files. I ended adb server and the 1.6 program w task manager. Started the 2nd program and pushed the boot image and it took. Then went to recovery, cleared cache and flashed 206. I could have been done in 15 mins.

Awesome work people! Running thru the steps now.

Does anyone else think it is ironic that this process has 12 steps?

Thanks!!!!

Im sorry to be ignorant but what is place phone back into "bp" mode? thank you!

It is the same process to get it to fastboot mode, instead of selecting fastboot in the menu, you select BP tools. (from power off hold vol up\down and power @ same time until menu screen appears.)

can someone clarify step 3. Fastboot the 206 boot.img

It means after fastbooting the 181 files with matts utility, shut the phone off, boot into AP fastboot mode, and use matts new utility in the OP to flash the 206 boot img.
