Been on XDA for a while and couldn't find the BEATS mod for the RAZR so I signed up here just to search and bang there it is, will be flashing later tonight once I get home.

I was able to install on .79 ICS leak, however the settings don't do anything like others have said. I've gone to Settings -> Sound -> Music effects and set it to BEATSControl, restarted phone, etc... Still no worky.

got it done, somethings worth noting it reboots 3 times and when you get the press any key to continue (that on matts 1.6 would take you back to the main menu) it appears to try to install whatever the next number after the one you just did is. like if you just did the gingerbread it would try to install the ICS.

the first reboot showed a motofail (like it was rooting, maybe)
the good thing atleast is that the ICS fails just keeps erroring and won't do anything to gingerbread, so you can't mess it up there.
But thanks for making it super easy to get this MOD that makes it sound so good.

I didn't experience any issues with the mod but it doesn't matter because the way the installer works is by starting the root process. ICS root wont work on GB abd GB root wont work on ICS so no damage can be done to the phone

I have .210 and I kept root when I did it. Which process should I use? Will it even work with .210? I tried just opening the zip and running the Beatshack DOS file and it failed all the way threw.... any help would be appreciated, Thanks

I will try to update the utility to support the new 4.0.4 root method but until then you would have to first flash the .85 kernel, then boot using BP tools and run ics install option. Then flash the 210 kernel after install.

PS: Why are you not on 211?!?!?!?!?!

So how would we get back to 211 kernel? Is there much difference between 210 and 211?

EDIT #2: Seems to flash the .85 kernel fine, then after choosing option 1, I get--

Pressy any...
Waiting for device...
*daemon not running
*daemon started


Then I am just stuck waiting forever for nothing to happen.

Also, it appears I can make it back to 209 kernel too. I am running Arctic rom btw

I'm on rooted 211...... every time I run the utility everything fails & the phone reboots once. Any ideas

Somewhat fresh install running arctic, SUCCESS on install. No testing yet. Will test at home later. (used the utility)

No app in appdrawer though---oh, my unknown sources wasn't checked..maybe the reason?

Getting the Same error as above on Stock Rooted 6.16.211

Has no affect on headset for any setting :-(

Its not mounting it as Read/Write its only mounting Read Only.
