I keep coming up with questions while my phone charges and I'm reading other threads LOL I know I have my phone apps, etc "backed up" to Google servers ... so how do I keep it from automatically starting to re-install all my apps and other settings?

OK ... everything is backed up, Did the SD Card stuff, pics, texts, contacts, unchecked the back up to Google box, drivers installed, RSD Lite installed (just in case it's needed) and the 912 SBF downloaded and saved (just in case it's needed) ... phone is at 100%.
Have I missed anything?

Holy crap on a cracker that was easy!! I'm restored, and I have root, and I have Mobile Hotspot!! WHOOP WHOOP!!
Now, a couple questions:
To wipe the SD card and everything else, I should now do a factory data reset, correct?
I had Smart Actions frozen in Titanium Backup before this. Since it was used for root do I keep it available or can it still be frozen?

You mean the .APK for it?
I have already put the utility away on the old external hard drive. I can do a factory data reset without losing root, and if I need to wipe the whole enchilada I can use it, and for root too. I love this ... like a fat kid loves cake LOL
