from what i have read there is no going back even with the unloacked bootloader. trying to downgrade back to pre kk ota ends up in a brick. it is nice that people are able to unlock their bootloaders again

I will work on it when I get home. I think Scott finished his updates and it is ready for building now. We shall see.

OK guys, everything is synced up to the new build repos and i am building it now. Keep your fingers crossed that it builds

Kitstalk 4.4.4001 but still no new theme manager but I will work on that tonight and hopefully get it worked in for the next update

A heads up, once i get the 4.4.4 update out, I am going to be testing out something. Since people can now unlock the bootloader again, anyone can flash custom recoveries and roms now. But only problem is most roms are not compatible with the new bootloader and kernel. So I think I have found a way to make Kitstalk compatible with the new bootloader and kernel. Dhacker has a brand new kernel for us, I will be switching over to it to see how things go and then anyone can flash this rom if all goes well

As things are now if you took the 4.4.2 OTA and unlocked your bootloader, you can only flash dhackers CM11. I know this doesn't apply to most people already on kitstalk but I want anyone to be able to flash my rom plus its a brand new kernel so hopefully some things got fixed.

BTW, the build is still going, I haven't forgot about it, it just taking a long time. I will post it as soon as it is ready

UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE...WE ARE BACK

 

Changle log

 - Updated to version 4.4.4001

 - Updated Nova Launcher to 3.0.1

 - Updated Pandora Patcher to 3.1

 - Many, many CM updates

 - I'm sure I missed some things

 

Please do a CLEAN flash with this update. A LOT has been changed and you will get FC and weird errors if you dont.

I flashed the ROM, 4.4.4 PA GApps Micro and SuperSU 2.00 and everything is working just fine, at least what I use.

If you took the 4.4.2 OTA or FXZ to 4.4.2, you now have a new bootloader, and there is only one ROM that works with that bootloader. Unfortunately its not this one. But we are working on that and by tomorrow night it SHOULD work with the new bootloader. Thanks for all that have patiently waited for the update.

No, still using the same kernel as before. Dhacker had a brand new one that works with the new bootloader. I plan on working that in today after I get all my work done.
