OK... So... Flashing to backup and using Titanium Backup produced less than desirable results... Doing a full wipe and fresh ROM install and trying to use TB to restore settings was a disaster... Ended up with similar issues and no data connection. So after much trial and error: Went back to backup, dirty flash update,
Deleted data/data/com.android.phone, telephony, smspush ... Reboot to recovery and wipe dalvik and cache... Everything back to goody goody. IDK what the hell happened... But that was a head scratcher.

Just a note guys... It is highly troubling practice to restore system data with tibu. You are just asking for major issues. Only restore App and App data NEVER system data. Your sanity will thank you.  :)

Hence my never using it. I prefer nandroids or partials from TWRP if I have the backups. First time I had a dirty flash issue. This ROM has been very tolerant of my smash and grab update style. As Daft Punk pops into my head... TeKnowLogek...

Anyone have inverted Gapps for XT926 these days? Running dark bean here now with xposed mods to enhance... Blacked out and Hangouts slaps me in the face with blinding light every time I open to read messages... Maybe is there per app editing I can do somehow?

Nice... But would there be any issues flashing that into a different ROM? Should be the same across 4.4+ ROMs... Right? Gonna give it a go later. Just wondering if anyone's tried it yet.

Here's to hoping your streak continues man.  :) Just passing on info that has been drilled into us for many moons from those smarter than me and above my pay grade.  :D

The PA GAPPS works nice. Helps but I'd really love to see blacked out News, Hangouts and Keep. The search continues. Can we make a DarthStalk?

Yeah, I have their app on every device I own.  It's pretty nice and has almost every I app I use.

I tried getting their all in one and it's no longer in Play Store. So looks like I have to flash each one manually. Is that the method you used? Any issues after flashing? How well does it pick up everything from your Google account once installed... I read you have to wipe out and uninstall the regular versions otherwise you get issues. How do they update? Not to bombard you, just curious. I rarely flash individual apps in recovery. Don't want connectivity issues after my last one.

Their basic app is available on their website, it's the one I had to use on my M8. I still have their paid app from the Store on my N7 and Razr M.

I'm still using the blacked out Gmail from the PA apps you posted. No issues. In only gonna use the ones from team black out for the apps that weren't covered... Like Keep, Chrome and Hangouts.
