It worked just as it should! I'm now vack to stock and everything is up and running thank you for answering my questions.
After running the utility I remembered I have used it before for the same reason a few months ago.

Glad I could help. Be sure to root and save root with voodoo as instructed in the JB before upgrading since there is no current JB root method

Seems like your drivers need updated ..... because it sees it as mass storage but not as an adb device....

I installed the drivers again. Now it can recognize.

I just wanted to say thanks for this. I came from a Thunderbolt that at the time I rooted it was a PITA. This is a no brainer.

You can install ss 3.11..... you ain't obligated to use the one in the utility..... :)

Thank you! This was my first time rooting/flashing/modding etc etc and it went perfectly smooth (with the very graceful help of ftn1975, just a random guy willing to help a noob on chat).

hi guys ive been out of the scene for a while (since droid 1, now have droid razr)... i have a few questions regarding the installation of a custom rom. i managed to get root access now i just need some advice of where to go from here? once i install safestrap how do i update to jellybean kernel and install custom rom? thanks.

kernel Version: 3.0.8-g29cf5e7

I have no idea what is going on but I need to get back to .211 so I can have root in the leaked update!
