Well, here we have it, an official list from Motorola in regards to jelly bean updates! Pretty exciting news! The main focus now seems to be updating the newer phones, like the new RAZR line, first before the end of 2013. Older devices such as the Droid Bionic and Droid 4 also made the cut for the update.

If your phone is not on the list you are most likely still eligible for a $100 trade back rebate for a new Motorola phone.

So, Droid RZR do you think we will stumble upon a few jelly bean leaks in the coming months? Sound off in the comments with your opinions!

interesting. Moto not getting married to any time from on the OG Razr. Seems like we shouldn't hold our breath. Who's ready to place some action on Moto getting the newer Razr devices JB ready before the end of the year?

As far as devices getting jb by the end of this year im a little uncertain Droid life whre I quoted from said newer devices would get updates before 2013 and I thought that may be a typo on their part, but I didnt want to type 2012 and get hopes up. I wil double check the year and cross reference.

I still think they really don't care about the Bionic owners, we who bought the what was supposed to be their flagship for a while on launch date, then two weeks later the Razr comes out, then when we finally get ICS, the Razr HD series comes out. Watch when JB comes out, the Razr HD Ultra will come out, or Razr Tablet.

As far as going from ICS to JB, it is a minor update, meaning soak will be about one weekend, maybe a week before OTA, so it is easily feasible for a 2012 JB release for Razr series phones.

I'm just glad that they are going to release jelly bean for the og RAZR and RAZR MAXX. Since the M and HD RAZR were getting it, I figured we og and MAXX owners would see it as well.

I couldn't wait for Motorola to decide to release JB for the Razr. By the time they do another version will be out. So, I took it upon myself to do a self upgrade. JB is so fast and smooth! It's also a tweekers playground. The only thing not working is the flash for the camera, but using another camera app fixed that.

Which app are you using for Camera ???? and also the camera cant record in HD.

just FYI the motorola update list now lists the Razr as "will get" the Jelly Bean update, but it no longer says "by 2013"

My bad, the 2013 was the HD version anyways

You would think JB would be here by now for OG Razr. Its been 6 months since ICS and JB is just a small update. ICS was very large and it had a couple updates in the 7 months it was out (when it 1st came out). Someone is milking it. My god new phones get it before old ones and they have messed with the old ones longer which should make things easier. No excuses!

We'll get it. The OG RAZR and RAZR MAXX both had their statuses updated to getting ICS with no date and then they got it.

Yes, it stinks they chose to release it first for the HD RAZRs first, but we'll get it. Just have to be patient.
