It's just a widget that gives you faster access to Google play music and Google books, nothing great.

It would be nice if there was a post around the first page inserted with all the steps, post 110, some stuff about updating root first, and some other things. Someone should do that, saves the noobs to a thread/phone/update/????? so you don't have to read all #319 posts here :) :)

Good info in here, just see the same questions asked over and over!

OP has been updated to include steps needed to preserve root. :)

Free tethering? Not so much. I even tried my free usb tethering and got popups about updating my subscription..... failed of course.

I'd google it, there's some that work on other jellybean phones, but it's going to be hit/miss/fail in a lot of cases on JB.

2. In Wifi Tether go to settings --> Device Profile and set it to GENERIC ICS/JB (wlan0)

Tested and works for me on the JB leak w/root

That makes sense... USB tethering tried to check status on JB leak here. I may try that tonight

On the face of it, looks like it won't work on my XT910 RAZR, because it's not a Verison model, (unlocked from Thailand) and doesn't have the
OTA upate (0.7.2.XT926.Verizon.en.US). Anyone confirm this ??

Regards, BD

I did note better battery life on another forum (edit: this was on the first one I had, I went from razr hd to razr maxx hd). I ran exlir after a boot and my normal apps running on the stock rom:

about 500mA drain constantly, was really worried about battery life

Just did the JB again, applied the entitlement update, and ran a few apps and went to the home screen, launched elixr again and have been watching for a while...

under 150mA drain, usually about 120-130mA... interesting.
