ok I need some help guys I tried to install and I got a failed to verify whole life file signature. I did everything correct down to the last detail I have not froze or deleted anything that came on the phone I literally just rooted right before i tried just in case there isnt a root method found somebody please help

So I Used Matts util to go back to stock. I rooted and installed OTA. Saved root/temp unroot. Boot into recovery and try to install this update...no dice..build prop errors...then figure maybe I have to be on latest leak. Reboot into recovery and try to install 1st leak...no dice..build prop errors.

Where am I going wrong?

Since I am on the JB leak using SafeStrap...I will have to SBF back to stock, install the update and then recreate any rom slots I want? I also have to use Root Keeper for root. Did I leave anything out?

One last question...I am flashing this in stock recovery, right? Just want to be sure.

Flash Stock, update small update, root, update binaries, backup root and then flash in stock recovery. Then you can reinstall ss and recreate slots.

Run the Utility again. Make sure to take the first ICS update and root. Then install JB OTA. I ran into build prop error when trying to install over the 1st leak.

Worked great. Only issue is now SafeStrap keeps force closing. I am rooted so that isnt the problem. It is the latest version. Any ideas?

Edit: Scratch that...just needed to update Superuser. Duh!!

What did you use to create your ROM slot? The file Hash gave us in the SS thread? Just curious bc I don't think we can flash this as a base (or I don't know how to).

Finally got it installed but I lost root but thanks to matt I was able to go back to ICS and retain root the second time around with the limited edition utility. Thanks matt.

Im still debating if i want to run the new leak/ota (not sure what we're calling it yet) or just wait until the OTA. Im still having trouble getting off of the first leak back to ICS. It wouldnt wipe any data. it just sat there for 10 minutes using the utility.

Youarenotgodlike if you can't get back to ICS

Rerun it and pay attention to what the utility is doing. I am pretty sure you missed a step in that utility.

Hmmm... looks like the option to adjust "Audio Effects" in the Settings >> Sounds is no longer available. Don't remember if this was in the older leak or not, but just noticed it now.

It seems to be only in apps now like Google Play Music or Spotify. I found it in Spotify under "Audio effects" and in Play music under "equalizer" I believe. I am unsure if it works across the board or in just apps that have access to it.
