Well, from what I have seen, if Jcase is on it, then we better start setting up a way to get him paid! He'll get it done!!

I'm not a mature adult so why would I act like one? and all i was getting at was that you keep posting in the wrong forum and I don't want someone to try and use your methods of rooting jb for razr hd on their oj razr and brick because you don't have time to post in the right forums. There is a reason they have forums separated for each phone its so people don't get confused and try to flash their phones with the wrong thing. Also I wasn't trying to be a d!ck I was just pointing out that you keep posting in the oj forums and it might confuse some people. Anyway this isn't the place for this kind of bickering.

Im new to posting not that I wouldn't I just don't often have any helpful information to offer. But for this topic and cause I don't need anything but a check book! The link in the Original Post is an excellent way to put your money into "escrow" and makes a central point of payment and contact for the developer that brings in a successful root.

So.... Promises are nice, but cash is king. I paid my pledge today, and hope others will too.

I was planning to make a 2nd donation after a certain amount had been reached, but now with both pledges and PayPal donations ... any way for an occasional update in the OP of the combined total bounty?

I don’t want to speak out of turn, but this is a "bounty" and while Jcase is said to be working on it, and I imagine he is, there might be others too, or Jcase might not figure it out. (BTW, Jcase does a lot for us on Android, and has a bunch if great free apps. So, he is one of the good guys.)

So, if anyone pays anyone in advance, they risk paying the wrong person or paying someone who might give up!

So... my $0. 02 is we just need to wait to see who claims the Bounty.

After all, Bounty Hunters look for lots of people. They only get paid when they succeed.

The link in the op is not to Jcase. Its a pool where the donations will be held and be distributed to whoever figures it out. In the sad case that no root method is found they will track the donations and refund anyone that has donated. If I misunderstood your post I apologize.

I as have many others, lost root on the JB leak.Whatever the reason, we're all itching to get root back. So lets get it done.

I'm starting a bounty for whoever can get us root on this leak, as it will also benefit us in the way that we can jump back to this kernel and root it using the exploit found when the official OTA rolls around.

I'm putting down $90 for whoever can get a root exploit for the leak.
