Anyone on a ROM that will let us use Google Wallet yet?

A few guys on droidrzr including myself gave been working on it. It includes editing the build.prop and junk like that. I'll try it again since epinter's CM10.1 may have fixed NFC stuffs.

Speaking of which, I installed a hacked version on epinters 10.1cm and it got to "setting up wallet" but never got passed that.

The Pac Man alpha rom has Google Wallet installed. Dunno if the app actually works.

The ROM still has some issues that need to be worked out, it seems, but it's very cool.

Seems like it has the exact same issues as pinter's Cm10.1, down to the force close on calls.

So if went from android 4.2.1 to the pacman ROM that is 4.2.2, how would one go about going back the the stock 4.1.2? Could one just flash a ROM meant for 4.1.2? Or does it have to have the build integrated into the ROM zip? Or what exactly?

Do you have a backup that you made in TWRP or CWM of a 4.1.2 rom? If so you can just restore it, and then you can flash whatever. TWRP and CWM include the kernel when you make the backup, so they give you everything you need. If you only have backups that you made in Safestrap, then you would need get the 4.1.2 kernel on your phone first in order to make flash a 4.1.2 ROM.

No wait! I did do that, cause it said to make a back up like asap after unlocking the boot loader! So, yes, I'm cool again! Lol, thanks Megaroad!

I'm not totally clear on it because I've never had to do it, but I think you can either flash the boot.img for 4.1.2 that has been posted in a few places (some of the 4.1.2 roms have it posted a separate download), or I think you can just use Matt's version 1.20 utility to make your phone be stock 4.1.2.

OK, cool! Thanks a lot for the response! I suppose if anyone ever has to do it, I hope they post it here! :-)

Lot's of people have dealt with the issue successfully, I just haven't been in a position where I need to flash the kernal aka boot.img file because I've just been restoring TWRP backups of 4.1.2 when I need it instead of doing that.

Hashcode is working on an AOSP kernel but it's not ready yet. There are a few 4.2.2 ROM ports that work (you can find CM10.1 and AOKP on XDA, and there's a Pac Man ROM that's a CM/AOKP/Paranoid hybrid on Droid-Hive.com), but they have some issues that may not be worked out until Hashcode's kernel is ready. I'm running the AOKP build right now and it's nice. Just make sure you read the threads so you know what issues to expect.

Atrix hd ROMs can be used

We can flash Atrix ROMs on our HDs? Has anyone tried this with success? They have a liquid build I would love to try out if possible.

They require tweaks specifically to the radios. But for the most part, pretty much the same build.
