This new theme, can we just flash the theme? Or do we have to install the ROM as well? (181 stock rooted), and another ?.........can we use bootstrap?

The urban theme is for eclipse 1.3 rom only.This new theme, can we just flash the theme? Or do we have to install the ROM as well? (181 stock rooted), and another ?.........can we use bootstrap?

i tried to install over eclipse 1.3 running .173, it goes into a boot loop and will not load. Had to restore. Any thoughts?

Yep did a wipe, it's not my first rodeo, tired twice, still got stuck at splash screenDid you follow OP instructions about wiping b4 installing theme?

Are you using bootstrap or safestrap? I had the same problem initially using bootstrap. Switched to SS, then re-flashed Eclipse 1.3, then flashed the theme and all was good. Just make sure you completely uninstall bootstrap before you start using safestrap. You can find the procedure for removing bootstrap here. Hope this helps :-)

Fuzz - is where you get stuck on the Dual Core logo or the boot anim & how long do you give it?
I've had some success w/installs that didn't 'settle' (after a few min) that doing the 2 finger Razr salute, i.e. holding
down power & volume down to reboot (in place of battery pull) will sometimes help to get things back on track.
Note that besides putting phone in silent mode, it also sets ringer volume down to about 5-10%

The OP says to use safeboot recovery version 1.9. I did not have any luck with flashing the theme. However I could flash the Rom with bootstrap......go figure :-)

I never installed bootstrap, is not needed. I never touch my stock system so I can receive ota. Install safeboot and enable safe system and install all the roms, mods and themes to the second partition. If want to boot back to stock is simple, just disable safe system.The OP says to use safeboot recovery version 1.9. I did not have any luck with flashing the theme. Once I finish the mods for ikream ics 211, I will make some themes. Please be patient since I do everything on my own it takes time. Btw GB users I did not forgetCash we bring this over to the new ICS Eclipse Rom. Didn't know if you could port it to ICS.
