I'll make a balanced one, in a couple of days then. But in all honesty, the performance script is pretty balanced. Not as good as it could be but, if you're undecided, I recommend the performance script.

I'm convinced

Can you explain how to revert to the factory kernel if for some reason I want to revert back?

This script does not install a new kernel, it just applies values. To go back to stock values, go into whatever app you used to run this at boot, and uncheck the run at boot option.
Or just delete the file outright.

Edit:I just followed all my instructions as seen exactly in the OP, rebooted and all my values were in place. There must be some thing you guys are missing.
Original:
Since you guys are getting those error logs, I assume you aren't running it at boot. I know both of these scripts work, I've used both of them. Just make sure you've set them to run as SU and at boot. Then reboot, if everything went correctly, the values should be in place.

No, in Script Manager, make sure it looks like this:

  102.46KB   34 downloads

With the Green SU and gear highlighted.

In ROM Toolbox make sure it looks like this:

Then reboot, my values will be applied.

Ok, here's my steps. I downloaded the performance script.

Put the performance script on my internal sdcard
Opened Script Manager
Scroll down and find the script, click on it
Clicked on SU and Boot
Clicked "run"
Still get the same errors.

EDIT: Ok so after typing my steps I realized my mistake which was that I shouldn't have clicked "run" after checking SU and Boot.

Here's my question though. Since I didn't click "run" and just rebooted. How can I check to verify that it's actually working?

So far I'm noticing no difference on Arctic (which is basically stock 211).

I'm about to try this out myself, but I've used script manager before quite a bit on my HTC Thunderbolt (got the maxx 3 weeks ago) and its a good idea to put the script out on /system somewhere. /system/xbin is probably a good choice. When you go to add the script in script manager, instead of clicking run, click save. The rest of your steps look good. I think what you are running into is a race condention with the sdcards not being mounted yet when script manager goes to run it at boot.

No difference? Should be a lot smoother, even with an under clocked CPU,I'm on Arctic, so I know. Make sure that you don't have any other kernel settings that are interfering with my values being set.

I haven't made any easy way to check if it's working. Right now, the only way to see is by checking a file in one of the paths specified in the script an see if the value corresponds with the on I set.
Don't worry, that's the first version of the script, I intend to up the swappiness, disable logcats, and give the file system and sdcard a speed boost. :) Plus tweak multi threading.

Yeah, I haven't flashed Dualcore or Eclipse yet, lol. I'll probably get to Dualcore when I'm done with Arctic and Eclipse. :P

Followed OP saved to system script looked as OP picture with SU and boot but values don't change after reboot. I'm on Eclipse ICS on safe strap v2 if it makes a difference.

I also tried with ROM toolbox and still no joy.

Any suggestions?

Nitro normally builds most of those tweaks into his roms already so you wouldn't see any difference.

Not, that I would think, all it does is optimize, read and write speeds, with Kernel Performance V7 I benched at 3217. Thatll be released tomorrow. :)

Ran the battery script yesterday, and noticed an improvement. Especially when the phone was idle.
OG Razr -- INFEKTED -- .211, .214 kernel -- InteractiveX governor
