how do we know for sure if this is running at boot as neither script manager or rom toolbox says it was granted superuser after boot?

Yes, follow same instructions in OP.

They should be requesting Su at boot, do you have notifications enabled?

If you have ROM toolbox, make sure your CPU governor is hotplug, dirty ratio is 90, your I/O is deadline. So to answer your question, there is no easy way to check it's working, other than checking that the values are in place manually. In a couple of days I'll have a flashable zip, so this won't be a problem for long.

setcpu says it was granted su after boot but none of the other programs to run this script do for some reason?

Are they being granted Su in Superuser? Do you have notifications just for those applications turned off? Is there something stopping them from coming on at boot? I've never encountered this problem, so I'm just spit balling.

Thanks, though I am aware of those, the guys over on XDA found those errors. It'll be fixed in the next version. Which is coming in a few days.

I'm using ROM Toolbox to run these scripts at startup.

Strangely enough, I'm getting consistently better scores (~6,350 on AnTuTu) with the Battery Saver script than I am with the Performance script (averaging ~6,250).

What gives?

Found the Problem! The performance script wrote to disc less and the battery saving script was writing to disc more. I switched the values, must have put the wrong values in. Use the code, because that's what I updated the new values to.

You don't need to change the extension unless it's running as an int.d script, in that case you don't need an extension. I assume that you were using the battery saving script, as I tested and looked at both. Notepad++ was doing this weird thing where it puts a block after every line, which was breaking the script. It's fixed now though. :)

My battery saving script is now integrated into KOA AOKP. Flash it for an awesome ROM and my tweaks.

I can not find where to check I/O setting in Rom toolbox. How to find it?

Use what code..?

I manually changed the botched values according to what you specified your XDA thread... I know that benchmarks are probably not the most reliable testing mechanism for this, but I still can't manage to break 6,300 on AnTuTu with the modified Performance script.

What I mean by the code is the text, not the downloadable file. Hmm, just benched in Antutu, I got 6451, what ROM are you on? Do you have any underclock settings? A lot of the new stuff in the script, like new minfree values and OOM values don't effect bench scores, they just improve RAM management and multitasking.

Sorry, in kernel tweaks it's the scheduler, I come up with my own semi true names.
