And what's problem with that? He also mentioned that merging, developing and testing 4.4.3 will delay update even more.

4.4.3 is a minor update compared to what 4.4.2 brings to the table as SamuriHL alluded to earlier in this thread.

I don't think there's any problem with it at all, personally.  4.4.3 isn't even out on Nexus devices.  My Note 10.1 2014 just got a leaked Columbian 4.4.2 yesterday.  The VZW S4 doesn't have 4.4.2 officially yet, either.  The fact that the 2012 devices are getting 4.4.2 relatively quickly is a very good thing.

hoping 1 to 2 weeks, remember if you are rooted, tread with caution, its very unlikely you will keep it if you update

It's also not overly likely that a new updated root is going to be forthcoming.  You guys and gals got REALLY lucky with saferoot.  That kind of luck is not something to rely on.

You aren't hurting me any.  My M and HD are both unlocked and happily on 4.4. ;)

Be careful if you use external sd card. KK introduced "feature" to make your card read only. It's easy to solve if you manage to root you device.

I don't know how you can be happy with the Buggy 4.4 Roms that are out there right now, when I bought my phone I bought it and wanted it to perform at 100% on every feature or task its supposed to do, or else I would put a Handicapped sticker on it's case.

I'm using Carbon 4.4.2 for about month, it had only one bug and I found solution for it. Of course new kernel and new libs should make it even better without workarounds they used now.
