I was wondering if future builds will have the gps battery saving feature like cyanogenmod has?

Yes.

The ROM works with the new bootloader. I'm currently running KitStalk 4.4.4. I think the kernel just doesn't like the bootloader.

Umm the current build does not. The one I'm about to release does.

I will look into adding that in. I hardly ever use GPS but I do know it does drain the battery when on.

Do you mean 183.46.10 ? The new KK update? Yes the latest build (and future builds) works for that, just make sure you update your recovery first, as the old recoveries will not work. I posted them in the OP. One of 2 ROMS that work with the new bootloader :D

I've been doing this a while friend, but never really have to mess with fastboot or adb so I've been doing some of that research tonight. From what I can gather, we have to flash the phone back to stock with a stock VZW file (aka FXZ) that encompasses the ROM, the bootloader, etc. The best way I've found to do it so far is using the House of Moto method "

. Once stock with the new bootloader you'll have to:

1)root
2)flash the new CWM or TWRP recovery (see post #1027)
3)flash the updated Kitstalk ROM.

EDIT: So, i went ahead and bit the bullet....successfully. Using HouseOfMoto's method (

). I was successfully able to use the tool to flash the official 4.4.2 FXZ file (for those of you who are wondering, the "FXZ" is just a back-to-factory file that includes all of the bloat and junk you would have if you were to buy your phone from VZW). Next, I also used the tool to flash TWRP 2.7.1 and regain root. Lastly, I installed the lastest version of Kitstalk w/ gapps. It's not hard, but can be time consuming if you are rusty (like me) and have to do all of the research while you are on the equivalent to dial up...But, that's basically it. Follow HouseOfMoto's step by step instructions to the T and you are set to go.

Feel free to comment/correct nprevette :)

Ok. Stupid question.

I don't know if I'm on the new or old bootloader.

I had flashed the 4.4.3 update from Verizon via RSDLite. I then unlocked the bootloader, rooted, and found that I hated the update. So, I found a rollback method to get back to JB (98.30.1). So, I rolled back.

Am I still on the new bootloader? Or did it flash back to the old one? It says the date on it is 2013-9-26. So... I have no clue.
