[Bologna]

So I'm at the house last night chilling and I get a phone call from that secret phone number. Yeah you know the one. Anyway, they fill my head with alot of nonsense about some type of luncheon meat no longer being available at Fresh Market. I'm like so? They then go on to explain that this Baloney is some type of a patriot or something and they need me to fill in on an assignment for him. I'm like how much does it pay? They said it wasn't paying nothing so I almost hung up on 'em right then, but then, they laid out the plan to me. They showed me how doing this would benefit me in the long run so I figured "What the heck, I'm in."

After contemplating the events of tomorrow, I couldn't help but to have this uneasy feeling. Just what exactly was I getting myself involved in. I mean I got stuff to do. When I woke up, my pillow was completely drenched. If the nightmare I had was any indication today was gonna be a hard one. I'll let you decide

Anyway, I made it to the rendezvous point after a whole lot of other drama. I'm sure Baloney's readers don't wanna hear so I'll just spare you the details. This "contact" I was meeting had had dealings with the lunch meat people before and was privy to some highly sought after information. Turns out I was meeting with Sparkyman216 from the infamous TeamHaters syndicate. What was he going to tell me? Would It even be relevant to the overall cause?

Guess we will find out together.

The Interview:

me: What's up with you?

sparkyman216: Nothing . Been doing alot of family things. Took a little break from android

Have a new mind set on where I want to go with team haters

me: Ahh. #Teamhaters. You guys have been busy lately. I see you have recruited a few new members.

sparkyman216: Yea trying.

me: What's with the sudden push?

sparkyman216: Push?

me: for support/new members?

sparkyman216: Always looking for new ppl and support. I really want ppl to see TH for what we really are. Were not out to be just another "team" we want to make our mark. But not just in android
me: Hmm. You have higher aspirations?

sparkyman216: Yea. TH came about because I hate ppl that hate on others for any reason.
Its not needed. We all have are own way of expressing ourselves. We shouldn't he knocked down BC of that.

me: And how do you plan to take that beyond Android?

sparkyman216: Well with what we are doing now. And other ways I need to find someone that can head that part for me.

me: Exactly which talents are you searching for?
In other words,
Where exactly would you like to see #TeamHaters go outside of building ROMS?

sparkyman216: Ppl willing to do their own thing work with others.
In android? Or outside

me: both. What avenues would you like to see #TeamHaters have a presence both inside and outside of Android?

sparkyman216: Outside of android. Just as a brand that ppl know what it means. I refuse to sell t-shirts for android purposes

sparkyman216: On android I want other devs and ppl to know when they see TH they know what we represent and know the ROM is fast

me: Any inside info on any upcoming projects?

sparkyman216: Working on axiomcs for bionic and Gnex

sparkyman216: Really I just want ppl to know TH is here to stay. And we are positive. And we will kang the hell out of whatever we think can run better.

me: Cool.

sparkyman216: Working on something right now. But I don't own one

How do you feel about Android Development now?

sparkyman216: Sorta alot of choices. But I also think the real good devs work don't shine thru as much. BC ppl like aokp

sparkyman216: I know. It sounds like hate but, It’s not. They have really good devs. Adam and xoomdev are great.
To name a few....

me: So many new DEVs to choose from now that the DEVs with experience don't get their work put in front of the users as much as they used to. Am I close?

me: Do you think it would be possible to bring as many DEV's as we can under one banner?
As in, have everyone work on 1 ROM outside of their current projects as a show of unity.

That's what TH does all its devs work together on each other “stuff”. Help out at least

Edit: Looking at this posted I couldn't even leave yall like that. I couldn't show you my nightmare here but if you follow Baloney on the google plus and whatnot, then you seen it and you know why I couldn't post it here. After all I'm not an interviewer, I do music man.
I tried though and I think that deserves some credit.

Anyway what about the unity in Android?
Does it exist?
Is everybody just out for themselves or will we be able to go up against the next innovation as a whole?

too long didn't read, but glad to see there are others out there who still enjoy the mars volta's first album. did you ever read the booklet they made for it? makes more sense after reading

LOL BigDaddyHicks I know what you mean. It was more interactive before I had to remove some stuff and that pretty much left only text after that. I don't really care to do alot of reading either novakdesolation but, as you can see inspiration does come from all places. Ironic isn't it?

The gist of this was that Beanz and Sparkyman216 are discussing whether or not there is enough room in Android for all of the developers.
Do you guys think that everyone gets a fair chance to showcase their work?
Is there a better way to get the word out?
What do all these lawsuits say about Apple?
And so on and so forth.

I wanted to like all of your posts as usual but, it seems my like button overage from yesterday carries over to later on today.

you know what android hackers just need some one to lead them. i mean you guys are every where in the country. soo its not like you can gather and all. but
if some one could get every one together on a great project. a game changer type project. then part out the work. im not talking about just your reg rom im talking a rom to beat all a revised android os that can run on the og droid to the gs3. to optimized all phones but on the same rom style. for us not to show google what we can do just to make every android user who wants it experience better, cooler, faster and more responsive. and

it would be of an EPIC scale but i really think it can be done as for credit all that are in it should get credit.

The vision at the time I wrote this article was actually to see if there any interest in a universal rom. A true community project. everyone would of course be able to still work on their own individual releases but come together for the ultimate noob rom of sorts. A rom that focuses on making stock as good as possible.
Of course other flavors would follow for the power users amongst us but the rom I am proposing would basically allow you to get to know your phone alot better than vzw initially wants us to.
Each dev will most likely have a device they focus on so as the team gets bigger the device support will grow. Possibly becoming the cyanogenmod for people that are more comfortable on the stock side of things.

I'm just a writer though, and can't dev at the moment. Is this something that users/DEVs would be interested in?
It would mean more exposure for everyone involved and provide a much better connected network of people to get help from.

I must have skimmed it too fast. It read like a circumspect conversation from Goodfellas or the Godfather, where the one guy is saying, "inside and OUTSIDE" of Android, asking the guy to make a mob hit for him. So yeah, I'm a bit confused on that whole thing.

As to the actual question that was posed, that I shall take the liberty to paraphrase as "Can't we all just get along" or something along those lines, It's always hard. Android = independent and organic = attracts anarchists and creative rulebreaking/changing people = people who are damn smart and will still disagree with equally damn smart people = herding cats. The price for creativity and genius is that it's hard to harness as a single unit, and once you put systems in place to do that, the creativity and genius will leave the building. Personally, love to see it, but if you wanted met to put money down on it at the betting window, I'd take the under.

I'll have to read the liner notes to a Mars Volta album. I know people who LOVE them, and I just don't get it.
