Well Nitewolf...

This is the first time in quite some time I've haven't been able to pull off something so easy...My guess, Its possible I may need to do a Factory ReSet...

Everyones, process Including CMH, Nukeruss yourself and others are on the Mark...I just cant get this Blanking thing When in AP Fastboot to work...

Yes, its the (Power Button/Vol up-Vol Dn) to boot to AP Fastboot...I chose Fastboot...after several Seconds it boots to safestrap nothing works after I try to Flash JB ROM into a slot...

What I am guess its not finding the MD5 ROM for recogonizng the JB ROM...I take Ownership for its not working...the Process given are Awesome/Specific but its not working for me...

I'll Keep trying

Its Bubba.

I think I know whats going on. After you boot into the boot menu using all three buttons from the off state, use the volume down button to navigate to the AP Fastboot and the VOLUME UP button to select it. If you try to use the power button to select it then it will just turn off the screen and after a 10 second timeout it will reboot the phone. I just tried it and that is exactly what happened to me.

Ok so I'm at a loss unless you're mistakenly hitting the power button to select fastboot instead of the vol up key.

Nitewolf,
You may have cleared a missing link...Holy Blanky Blank-blank...all that I've read this is one piece never seen mentioned or I totally missed it...going to re-read these post again...
This is Why I wasn't getting into AP Fast boot...I held the (Power Butt/Vol up-Vol Dn) to get to Fastboot but I didn't do the Vol up button to get into this mode...not out of the woods but this might be my JB Sweet to jump on this Kernel...

Its both Vol buttons then Power to get to Recovery menu, then you use the down Vol button to cycle thru the choices, and then you use the up Vol button to select Fastboot.

And, Fastboot mode will only work when NOT in Mass Storage mode....

Awesome...
Light at the end of the tunnel...one dilemma... Patriots Game is on...

Bingo...

Nukeruss, Nitewolf...

You Guys just opened the missing link...Perservance pays off...But those Blanking Buttons Pissed me Off :)

Thanks for hanging in their with me...I think I figured it out too...

Noting the steps above, I did get into Fastboot then I scroll to Fastboot with Vol Dn, then Then I hit the Vol up Key which than brought me where I need to be in AP Fastboot Mode (S)...

Tried to Print the screen but it didnt work but, I think I am now in the screen that I was missing to getting into the Colorful World Of Jelly Beans...Couple more glasses of Wine I would have been seeing the same Colors Jerry Gardcia saw in his Ties...Those Colors are Close to being Jelly Bean Colors...

The Directions and the Process On Post 70 was helpful...It was the process on the Power/Vol Dn to Fastboot Then to Vol Up that I missed to get into the correct Screen...Everything else is Seemless following the process...It was this piece I think...Will know soon...

Thanks Buddy

I don't think it's flashed to any part of the rom. It's flashed to the boot partition. If it were flashed to the rom, how would it get transferred from rom to rom as you flash different ones? How would fastboot know which rom or rom slot to flash it to? Truth is, fastboot has no idea your various roms and safestrap partitions exist. No way for it to know.

That would make sense as its not affected by roms. I was just curious as to why we could not backup or restore a kernal.

Mines_01 and I are trying to implement that now. But we are trying to put it into an APK so users don't have to run complex scripts.

Hold power, volume up and volume down. Press volume down to AP fastboot and then use the volume up to select not the power button.

Nitewolf,

To get back to a ICS ROM I need to Fastboot correct? When i do, will Fastboot Recognize the choice from JB back to ICS...Now that I figured out the Keys/Toggles to get into Fastboot...

pretty sure you would have to flash/restore an ICS base rom before switching back to the ICS kernel thru Fastboot or the rom will not boot....just keep that in mind
