One more before I'm accused of hijacking the thread: I not only remember the color version, I sold the first Trash-80 (original model) in the Utica Region while I worked at the Shack part-time and was in high school. *HAH*
Now I hold in my hand more computing power than existed in the whole world back then!

Thanks for this xlightwaverx. Allows me to dev for JB and ics at the same time without taking the full jump to jb. Awesome work!

Choose fastboot BEFORE plugging in the USB cable. Then run the utility on your PC. Dunno why but having the cable plugged in before i made a selection in the recovery menu just made it boot up as soon as i made a selection.

Has anyone had any luck using the linux version of this? It does not seem to be cooperating for me.

I retract my statement.. after cursing at my laptop for an hour and a half I got Ubuntu to play nicely with adb/fastboot. Thanks for the utility!

Buzzard Question...

Currently on a JB Leak Kernel in Slot 1, Now, being on the JB Kernel wouldn't I be able to Flash additional JB ROMs in another Slot being on JB Kernel...

Reason I am asking, I can only get the One JB ROM on this JB Kernel...I was thinking I could Flash other JB ROMs on the JB Kernel...

What have I dun Wrong...

I'm running a JB ROM in slot 2 without any stability issues. Terrible battery life though, though that may just be the ROM or some rogue app I need to track down.

Yeah, I'm trying to narrow it down because flick in my ICS slot runs great, but this ROM definitely has a bit more bloat and I let Google restore my apps instead of doing it manually with TB. Probably just going to ride it out until the new fat free release later today or until flick gets updated for jb.

I have three rom slots. Each has a rom that uses the JB kernel. They all run great.

Two possibilities come to mind:
1 Make certain the JB ROM you're flashing to slot two was written for JB kernel, not ICS.
2 Delete and re create slot two, then flash the second ROM again.

I have personally been running the OTA/Leak on slot one and testing different JB roms on slot two with ss 3.07.

wWidow is a rom that runs on the ICS kernel. The only roms you can run on the JB kernel are the ones found

Do you really need to fastboot before doing this? I've frozen some apps but would rather not fastboot if I don't have to... I've never started with a clean system with safe strap before but I guess I wasn't changing kernels then either.
