Didn't run rootkeeper, lost root access.

Game over.

Those still on the fence, check out xlightwaverx's JBDualboot. You can get on JB without risk of losing root. It enables you to flash back and forth between ICS and JB kernels so it's probably best to go that route if you haven't taken the OTA yet.

I did it last night and am running JB now with the option to go back by it's running great as it is. Only thing is WiFi Tether isn't working so I'll be trying the sql hack soon.
